How to tell which ships are upgraded?

Is there a way to tell which ships are upgraded to T6-X before purchasing a ship on a character? If not would it be possible to just add "Upgraded" somewhere in the description or in the labeling? Or maybe it can be a whole new category in ship selection?

    Do you mean "can be upgraded to t6-x with a token"? Nothing you don't already own comes with a T6-X pre-applied except I guess a lock box, lobi, or promo pack ship that you are unboxing for a second character.

    As far as I know, every T6 ship including legendary can have a T6-X token added to it.

    Note: Fleet ships and non-Fleet versions are different ships, and I believe applying a T6-X token to a non-Fleet ship does NOT apply it to the Fleet version.

    Or do you mean you want C-Store ships you already own to be marked in the store if you've previously upgraded them on a different character?

    If you don't mean T6-X, do you mean "does a Fleet version exist"? If it is a 10-console T6 ship then yes, if it is 11-console then it is already "Fleet level" unless I think for some Miracle Worker ships that can go to 12 consoles?     I wanted a way to determine which ships I've already applied an upgrade to. T6 ships come upgraded if you've already upgraded them on another character. So if I upgrade a T6 Defiant to T6-X on character 1, on Character 2 I can claim the same ship and it comes upgraded already. I'm talking about T6-X ships specifically. Is there a way to tell in ship selection which ships have had an upgrade token applied?

    I think if you upgrade, say the legendary defiant on toon A and toon B gets it from the C store afterwards, it's already t6-X, not upgrading required

    As far as I know of all T6 ships are X-upgradeable. Apparently not all T5s are though, only the ones that can take one of the old T5u upgrades can be further upgraded with an X-token, and all c-store T5s (which include the ones available to choose from for free at level 61) are actually T5u iirc.

    Currently there's no way of telling this before you reclaim the ship on another character. You can only tell once you've claimed it.

    There is only one way to check if you have already upgraded the ship....check it on a toon. There is no other method. And I predict a QoL suggestion coming....but seriously, you can't just check yourself? Why risk creating something that is going to cause display bugs?

    Wait, I thought if you claim a cstore ship that you have upgraded on one char will not be auto upgraded but you can upgrade it for free.

    Yes, you just go to the ship manager and the upgrade button should be lit up and pressing it does the upgrade for free if you have upgraded the exact same ship class on another character (note however that if you previously upgraded a c-store version of a ship that the Fleet version is considered a different ship class for the purposes of upgrading, and if you want that version upgraded you have to use another token to do so).

    This was the answer I was looking for. But my suggestion would be to just add a small notification for previously upgraded ships. Maybe just an addition in the description when the condition of an upgrade is met. "An upgrade has been applied to this class of ship." Or maybe just a new filter.

    I usually just create a text document and type down which ships I have already upgraded.

    The only way to tell if its a T6-X is after you claim it and in the ship selector its either already got the T6-X applied or you click on the upgrade button and the cost is free.
    For me its a bit easier to remember which ones because they're ships I play A LOT.
