"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
Its no bother to me.
Only time I have ever seen it in a mission that i can recall is a step between the stars with tuvok and that whiney little guy who turns out to be an undine infiltrator.

On the ground it happens whenever something explodes near you. In space it happens whenever something hits your ship or blows up near your ship.

I have seldom paid attention to shake in this game, if it does it frequently can't say it must be very severe then, I do enjoy a little feedback to explosions or quakes etc, so I'd never turn it off.

It's where the whole screen shakes when there is an explosion or some other violent activity in the game.

Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
When I start a new toon I leave it on for a bit, but then end up quickly disabling it like I usually do.
