Section 31 Battlecruiser

On the Section 31 Battlecruiser, when you go into battle a piece of the hull hangs below the ships deflector not attached to it. Is that supposed to happen or is it a bug? I was only wondering because like on the Kelvin Timeline Intel Dreadnaught, the deflector does that.
