Everyone seems to agree that the TTF beam array is the best in the game. The thing is, I'm pretty much one shot killing everything with my beam overload build as it is. The scalling damage doesn't really factor if it's already dead. If the enemy does survive the first hit, the second one will do it. In this case would it not be better to replace it with a fourth advanced phaser beam array (thus 5% chance of +4% damage first each APB)? Thoughts captain's?

Have you considered using a parser to compare the performance of the Terran Task Force reputation beam array versus a fourth advanced phaser beam?

Another option might be a damage calculator such as the link in the right sidebar under tools here: https://sites.google.com/view/stobetter.

Unfortunately I don't have access to that (PS4) but thank you for the suggestion.

It's an interesting argument that the scaling damage of the Terran Task Force Phaser doesn't matter since the opponents already die swiftly, but let's go with that.

Your question is if it is beneficial to use another advanced phaser beam array due to the critical damage increase.
If your crit rate is sufficiently high then it may be beneficial for you to focus on critical damage.

While you cannot parse the damage on console, just test it and see if it feels beneficial.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
