Atlas Class T6-X became a Kobayashi Maru when KM unpacked

Hi all,
my Atlas class Federation Prototype Dreadnaught Cruiser suddenly became an additional Kobayashi Maru freighter, when I finally opened up the reward pack I had. In doing this it has lost all the equipment that was mounted on the Atlas, and further more any of that gear that was shared on other ships as well reports as on another vessel, although when trying to swap it back doesn't show as existing at all.
Attached are 2 screen shots:
1) While on the USS Tesla I am attempting to swap out to the Julius Caesar (my Atlas Class) which shows up in the ship selection as a Kobayashi Maru. Please note that just a few ships below you can see the USS Richmond which IS a Kobayashi Maru ship. I do not believe it is possible to normally have identical versions of the same ship available ie two Kobayashi Marus.
2) here I have selected the Julius Caesar and while it shows up looking like an Atlas one and indeed having the Mastery of one, the ship's status shows a Kobayashi Maru's! Not also the missing or greyed out components.
I have also opened up a support ticket for this.
So unless Q is up to shenanigans it looks like I'm out a favorite ship!

I keep trying but it keeps telling me file upload failed.
Edit : Ok now it worked ...
At this point I am scared to do anything that involves the consoles on the grounds that I am worried they will just disappear. At the moment they exist in limbo ie they register as owned, just on "another ship". Unfortunately the "other ship" IS the Julius Caesar.
As mentioned this has also been escalated to both the developers and senior management of support so I'm hoping some feedback from them will be forthcoming. I haven't even saved the setup so as not to do the same thing.
If nothing else is forthcoming then as a last resort I will do as you suggest but for now I want to change as little as possible.
Also I have changed zones by transwarp, but to no effect - still the same problem , just in a new zone

Ah, yes - I can certainly identify with that.
You're Kobayashi Maru (either from Event Reclaim or Z-Store) is reclaimable and you could discharge it and follow up with a reclaim to see if the Atlas gets restored.
Still, it may be best to work fully with CS to see if they can resolve the issue. They should be able to 'roll-back' your character to before you unpacked the Kobayashi Maru.
Also I attempted the reclaim of the Kobayashi Maru , but it did nothing.
However when I Drydocked the confused Atlas, it appeared in the Drydock AS an Atlas - the U.S.S. Julius Caesar, with all the console and weapon slots displayed correctly. I felt it was safe to try this as I'm getting a roll back.
So I then recommissioned it as an active ship, which brought up the naming screen with an empty image, 0 for all the stats that normally get displayed there and the name USS InvalidObject.
It wouldn't allow me to rename it then and there, so I accepted it aaaaaand the ship disappeared off my list.
All it's consoles (which were shared by other ships) are still marked as on "another ship" although none of my ships have them.
So here hoping the restore is the solution.
