No Phoenix Event? STO website says it should have started.

    Phoenix Event is for consoles not PC. We already had ours.

    Shame the filters on the website don't work. I'd love to be able to set it to ONLY see PC News.

    Looks like the STO web site can not be trusted.

    The teaser text is clear that this is for console only.

    But the full article fails to articulate this limitation. Frequent occurrence, I had similar confusion some weeks ago when another event was announced (that time it was on the PC game launcher .... console-only events NEVER belong there)

    There is not a single mention of console in the article. The title just says phoenix event & RD. I've been running around drozona for 10 minutes trying to find grym. It also shows up under the PC>News. So it is not clear at all this is for consoles. It's quite the opposite really.

    You say that the teaser text makes it clear. And since the teaser text is also in the full article, the full article also makes it clear.

    The News page is the News page. Granted, I'll give you that the filters do not seem to work, but all news for PC and Console are on the News page.

    Yes, there is mention of Console in the article. As stated above the teaser text clearly shows it, and the teaser text is in the article. Plus, all articles contain icons to indicate which platforms they relate to.

    These articles are also posted and linked in their own threads in the appropriate PC/Console GNN subforum, also indicating which platform these Events take place on, so there really should be no confusion about any of this.

    As this "complaint" thread serves no purpose other than to bash the CM, we'll be closing it. /thread
