CAn we have the Devs look at auto-completing traits that are duplicates?

for those of us who had, say the Kor, and had completed the withering barrage trait, and then get the BoP from the klingon recruit that has the same trait? yes, i like to have all the traits done but I don't want to re grind traits that that character already has. Ditto the traits from the legendaries, esp the Odyssey. I'm not asking for account wide, just have new toons that I want traits that I can get leveling one ship instead of 2 or 3

    No one is making you grind those extra bits of mastery, you are choosing to do so. If you have the Kor and Defiant as hypotheticals, it makes sense that you would have to do mastery for both ships if as they're two separate ships. I've long since wanted to see mastery as a whole be account wide for Cstore and Mudd's ships for convenience, but that's a completely different debate.

    As for it auto-completing, elaborate slightly. If Toon A on my account has the Kor mastered for Withering Barrage and I pick up a second ship that has the same trait, then you want the second ship to unlock all of the mastery for free because of the Kor?

    If I have Toon B as a second toon on the account that has not yet flown the Kor, would he still have to master the ship under your suggestion?

    Because depending on what you're asking, you are to some extents asking for an account wide thing. Lastly, assuming the player has a decent basic cohesive build, 1-2 patrols on advanced and you'll master any ship out. I don't see that as asking alot.

    in my vision, it would be locked to the toon and maybe even the faction

    Just stop grinding after Tier 4 if you don't need the trait. Simple.

    I'd rather the devs focus their energies on other things, myself.

    Except, it's not been a grind since Kinjer came into being. It takes all of 5 minutes to master nowadays.

    Sure, and I agree. But I decided to point out that you don't gave to grind the last level at all, if you don't want or need to.
