Dedicated carrier boosts

As the title says, this is for dedicated carriers, not flight decks, not strike wings, not multi missions, dedicated carriers.
Its clear they need a boost as they are no where near as powerful as many of the other ships in the game, and while some say adding a 2ndary deflector or boost their weapons slots should be the fix done, I disagree, I have three suggestions for carriers that I think would help them considerably

1. Replace subsystem targeting abilities with temporary boosts to hanger pets, basically, press the button, and your hanger pets get a buff to their speed, weapons, shields, you get the idea, just a simple boost to their stats.
2. Wingmen, no, not the vanguard wingmen, just two ships that follow you around and have set abilities, could be standard to a carrier, or have a slot with options to choose from, like a Miranda and Defiant for fed side options, this gives them a pretty decent boost, and still leaves the vanguard wingmen as something special with their extra commands available.
3. Flight deck controls, a new slot on dedicated carriers that would work similar to a kit frame, where it provides some passive boosts to hanger pets, and open up flight deck command slots that allow you to apply larger more substantial buffs to your hanger pets temporarily

I think one or a combination of any of these would be fitting and a good change to dedicated carriers overall, or something on these lines where hanger pets/support craft are the focus of the damage being dealt due to the class of ships being, well, carriers, they are supposed to rely on escort craft and launched craft to do the heavy work while they are in the back lines providing support.

I don't disagree that carriers could use a boost, but is there a reason not to just boost the base damage/output of hangar pets? While flight decks and strike wings and so on aren't as underwhelming as the sci-carriers, they also aren't winning any awards with their pets either.

Issue with most of the other non-Sci ships with hangars getting a boost to is that the launching ship itself is almost as good as their base type. Strike Wings put out just as much damage as a regular escort with only compromise usually being slowness. Flight Deck Carriers loose a couple of Cruiser Commands over a full Cruiser, or just a single one less over a Battlecruiser. Science Carriers on the other hand lose out on the very significant damage source of Secondary Deflectors compared to Science ships proper, with the Deteriorating type in particular often being the largest single entry on DPS parses of Sci ships.

    Ah- that's reasonable. Thanks!
