Steam-Arc link

in Windows and General: PC, Network, and Other Technical Issues
Has the Steam and Arc account linking been permanently been disabled if not how do I do link these 2 accounts so that my progress is saved to the Arc system?

    I believe that the last word is that they're not allowing linking of accounts not already linked for either Steam or Epic anymore.

    Thanks I was trying to set up an acct for my son so i could use his acct directly with Arc instead of using steam.

    If we are lucky maybe they will go back to the old system where you could launch via Steam but didn't have to link them explicitly, I get the idea they only changed it because Epic required that kind of linking.
