my intrepid is currently Control 338 and EPG 429 in earth orbit.

    400 Control Expertise gives a gravity well it's maximum radius. Going over this does increase pull.

    250 EPG gives the R&D trait Particle Manipulator it's capped maximum Critical Chance of 50. Going over does increase exotic damage.

    My usual balance between the two is very close to yours... just a tad under max radius with lots of exotic damage.

    The ideal combination is a personal preference and perhaps map dependent also.
