Waiting for a discount for Legendary Romulan Warbird Bundle Will it go on sale this summer sale?
They don't announce sales in advance, so no-one knows what will be on sale or when. However, sales are regularly on, so just bide your time.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
The legendary warbird is a nice ship, even if you do pay extra for the bundle of "stuff" it comes with.
Note that the stuff is for a single character, and all of it is bound to the one character including the bridge officers. The ship is an account unlock that can be claimed and reclaimed like other c-store ships.
If you have enough time before it appears, try to catch a zen sale to get your zen cheaper, then hold on to the zen until they have the ship sale.
Also, there will eventually be a red alert event that earns you a free ship upgrade token (T6-X, +1 universal console slot) so you don't need to buy one.
For gear upgrades, buy 10-packs of Phoenix boxes for 40,000 dil. The Phoenix tech upgrades are the most efficient (and cheapest) way to upgrade gear.

Thanks guys, bought myself the Legendary Warbird Bundle and got myself the Romulan Valkis Temporal Heavy Dreadnought from the bundle, a Klingon Vor'ral Support Battlecruiser, and a Jem'Hadar Vanguard Dreadnought Cruiser + 4 T6-X upgrades + 4 Captain retrain tokens. I won't be spending money for the game anytime soon. At least a year.

If you want to use a T6-X on a ship that has a fleet version, notice from the wiki that you want to use it on the fleet version not the regular version.

Thanks for the suggestion! I knew T6-X is account wide.
If you enjoy the game, you can afford something, and you think you'll enjoy it more than buying something else with the money then there's nothing to feel guilty about.
It's much more of a problem when someone gets caught up in gambling fever and keeps opening lock boxes to get that new ship, blowing their budget to buy just one more pack of keys over and over.
It wasn't a criticism. Just an observation. I splurged on a £600 a night hotel on a trip once when there was a perfectly suitable and much much cheaper one 4 miles closer to where I needed to be.
I stopped spending actual money as there's nothing I want in there now. I don't do the gamblebox thing either. The dilex is healthy on console still too, so there's that.
With regards to golf, anybody caught near a golf course when I rise to power will be arrested and thrown in a hole. Golf courses are a waste of perfectly good countryside.

Yeah I never bother buying lock boxes' keys. The very idea of random lockboxes should be made illegal, imo. AT LEAST, people should know in advance what they are getting before spending an item bought with real money.

Thank you for the advice. Much appreciated!!
No mention of Legendary stuff returning though. So perhaps.
All normal C-Store right now. 10th Anniversary isn't part of the normal store but I think we got it as a flash sale later on during the Summer event.
Right now you can get a 20% zen charge bonus to collect the zen you'll need, if you buy through Arc not Steam.
Nice, enjoy the new ships
FYI, the T6-X upgrades are account-wide. Once you upgrade a ship using a token on captain A, you still need to go upgrade on captains B and C but the upgrade is now free. - https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Experimental_Ship_Upgrade_Token

Sounds like you had yourself a good splurge anyway.

Yeah, a splurge. Felt guilty and stupid, but I enjoy the game.
Compared to $27,000 golf clubs it's not much of a splurge - https://rarest.org/stuff/expensive-golf-clubs
