Invisible floater

Hi there ,

Anybody remember how to make the floater visible on Risa (when the "enable visuals" button on the floater does not help ?

I remember some sort of trick to it last year , but I totally forgot ... , so once again , instead of a floater I have a floate (?!) . ;)

    Sheesh, i had totally different mental image when I read the tread title ... :rolleyes:

    AFAIK, wearing the new Iconian Rep Armour (or using it's visuals at least) will render the Floater invisible. Not sure about any "tricks" from last year though.

    Don't have any Iconian stuff on any toons yet , so it's not that .
    I remember having the same issue with a Kdf aligned Reman last year ... .

    IIRC it is simple, yet impossible all rolled into one. short version: you need an invalid costume. Like one of those things that's listed as uniform even if it isn't. That's the only time I've seen it. Example, for this the shiny effect was done by zooming up out of the water, and of course frosted boots for the trail effect.

    One of my floaters is invisible too...
    It appears to be the white superior pack on my character who wears swimwear.
    Never had an issue till this year.

    Not only is my floater invisible, but when I activate it, my outfit changes from swimsuit-halter to rash shirt and board shorts. UGH!
