Lifetime subscription.

How do i find info on ANY subscription plan STO has to offer? I was going through my acocunt and seen "Lifetime subscription" in my check out then removed it and now i cant find anything about it.

    Wait for a sale. They'll provide a link at that time. There's been a couple of times it's been offered for a very short time (like 1-4 days) at 50% off, and it is usually offered at 33% off for a whole month about twice a year.

    There are no other subscriptions than the lifetime. There used to be a monthly as well, but it was discontinued three or four years ago.

    And the subscription isn't required to play (really at all). There's one social zone that is subscribers-only, other than that, it's really just a package of purchaseable perks (most of them are not available separately, but...) such as ships, inventory and bank slots, character species options, etc.

    Be nice if we could buy LifeTime with ZEN, Hey we spend the Zen on that we need more DiL. Think about it :)

    You can on consoles, BUT it's waaaaaay cheaper because there's no free zen stipend and you can grind it out for free. I highly doubt Cryptic wants to be giving away Zen for absolutely no return.

    Why? All it would do is let you gradually unlock the Lifetime benefits on a pay-as-you-go plan that would wind up costing you more....

    but what about a monthly sub payment called 'pay up for life.'

    payments are made until the full amount is PIF, then they get the boost to lifer.

    just a thought. i am sure there are valid reasons against, but an option for some.

    What about just saving up that money that you'd put toward a monthly payment, putting it aside until you've saved enough for the Lifetime, and buy it then? You can already do that now without Cryptic having to do anything.

    I know it would cost to me way more then in a long run, but that would be my "choice". I still would like to see Gearbox set up monthly subscription if they are willing to do so. :)
    This isnt away from anyone if requested, there would be still option to those who wanna choose STL version instead, and i believe it could give a Gearbox somewhat income for a future projects they could be able provide to players.

    I am not sure either does they somewhat "scale" a prices depends on a countries you are from... if not that 300usd would be like one month wage in a certain places due of differences and they would lost just possible players who would enjoy a fantasy like Star Trek would provide.
