Crash to desktop opening reputation boxes

Hello,

Just had a repeatable crash when opening reputation boxes, this is a new issue since the servers came back from the last patch.

Opening the boxes 3 out of 4 times resulted in a close to desktop, the remaining time it gave a broken item description box (empty).

Same, both within the last half an hour. Doing a force verify just in case but it seems like something somewhere went wrong in this patch.

Same issue I didn't see this thread so I posted one too. However its not just with Reputation Boxes the same goes for Lock Boxes.

Yeah it's everything that can be opened. Tried unpacking a DOFF Cadre, opening a rep box, even an R&D box.

Yes, having same issue here, tried to open the colonists box through the doff menu instead of opening it directly, and it worked so you can/might be able to use an alternate means to open it

I thought I was the only one with this issue. Guess it's not just me, thought I was gonna go insane. Every rep box I open crashes the game, error code 4160 e2 or 4161 e2.

Same here, even opening a Colonist box causes crash. Multiple CTDs today since the patch.

So it wasn't just me, then? Opening Phoenix Prize Packs; getting the 4161ca crash log.

Reputation rewards, faction specific prisoners, faction specific colonists, R&D boxes, Lock boxes, Endeavour Boxes, Phoenix prize packs, TFO Reward Boxes, etc are all crashing the game repeatedly. Any kind of box is crashing the game consistently on use.
Not even going to try and play again until this borked update gets a fix.

Same here, open a box (Rep,Endeavour...etc) cause game crash repeatedly... Very Frustrating!! Code for example 415e35

Did not say that. The thread I linked is an official posting that had (at the time I linked it) been up for eight minutes.

My mistake, then. It seems like the post is of Ambassador Kael openly acknowledging the bug.

We just got a system message in the in-game chat acknowledging the bug. Let's hope they get this fixed by tomorrow.

Seems that the crash is fixed, and the reward box is back, but there is no content in the info box, just blank. Anyone else getting the same?

I'm seeing this issue for the Endeavors reward box.

After doing the Tour the Galaxy Universal Endeavor, I did catch a conversation on the Beta Quadrant zone chat about somebody having a game crash happening when they were opening DOFF packs, but it turns out that specific crash happened BEFORE yesterday's quick fix before the patch was pushed this morning.
