Neither consoles look like they're super-awesome level, but the Equinox's is solid. Both traits are pretty good, though I'm not sure how many pilot skills I'd use on a science vessel (two? maybe?), which leaves a smattering of control abilities to stack the buff (ie very-slow stacking). Information *NOT* shown, which would play a role in my purchase choice, is if they're fleet-level or not. That helped sell the steamrunner bundle to me, knowing that all of my captains would be able to access a fleet-level T6x ship, by default.
The Legendary Intrepid has pilot seating also, so this could be slotted into such a build.
I personally have been using Hold Together and Clean Getaway on my Intrepid build. Don't remember the cooldown on CG, but Hold Together is a nice heal and cycles fast.
Did we forget the discount or is inflation hitting STO now?
I was wondering the same thing. Also, isn't 6k usually reserved for 3-ships bundles? 🤔
Not agreeing with someone doesn't give you the right to be an TRIBBLE.
Ci sono tre tipi di giocatori:
- quelli a cui non va mai bene niente... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
- quelli che sono talmente imbesuiti da credere a qualunque cosa i dev dicano, perfino che la luna è fatta di formaggio... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
- quelli che credono a quello a cui è giusto credere, sono d'accordo con quello con cui è giusto essere d'accordo e sono critici con quello che non va;
Oddly, despite the bundle containing two Fleet ship modules, there is no reference to Fleet versions.
The two ships both have the proper number of consoles for a T6 that would also have a fleet version, too.
My guess is that there are fleet versions but they forgot to mention it. That might serve as the blog's obligatory error.
Oh, there were other grammatical errors, too.
As far as price goes, I would point out that the New Genesis bundle -- which only added a few costumes, and a specialty phaser ground weapon over this new bundle -- was 7500z. Other 3-ship bundles for 6000z or 2-ship bundles for 4000z don't include T6x tokens (for obvious reason: they didn't exist back then) or fleet modules. So it's not entirely unprecedented. Of course, if you've already got a stockpile of T6x tokens, getting 2 more is probably not all that great of a deal.

I don't count grammar errors, only factual ones. Such as wrong dates, leaving in stats for game mechanics that have been removed (the recent blog that mentioned crew?), wrongly named consoles or traits, etc.
Yeah, i was going on the same, no discount?? unless they have a Zen sale, nope, i'll wait until i can get this bundle in discount, love the ships, dont get me wrong, but i'll wait
Both look interesting. Only obv downside at first glance is that gatling emitter spin up of "a few seconds". I'm super casual, and in my last conduit run (where everyone else was even worse; all new temporal recruit alts I guess), avg enemy lasted 1.2s according to the log. Makes that weap basically useless (even final bosses only last a few sec typically, much less if a dps epeen nut is present). IDK, maybe I'm wrong...concept is fun, but "a few sec" is eternity in current STO combat.

"Experimental Weapon - Gatling Emitter
This weapon will take a few seconds to spin up and lock on to your current foe, after which it is designed to rapidly deal damage until the foe is no longer a valid target. It cannot be manually re-targeted, and will instead continue attacking the designated foe until they die, move out of range, or otherwise can no longer be attacked."
yeah...was thinking the same. also, not many ships have experimental slots, unless the t6x upgrade universal slot can host these? ive never tried that since i think they wont. and as mentioned in another thread, most ships i fly do not have an experimental slot anyway. bummer.

Only tacships can use one, do you fly cruisers?
Also: Rats! A new account-unlocked experimental weapon is a good thing, but it almost never firing is much less gooder.
It would be more amusing if he suddenly was posting blogs correctly without typos, like drunk Johnny Fever's reaction time (WKRP) and Gene Wilder's gunslinger's shaky hand in Blazing Saddles.

In case you didn't get the previous explanation, Escort type ships have experimental weapon slots. (Like the recently released T6 Steamrunner or the Prometheus line.)
He didn't clarify if there'll be a sale, but as previously mentioned, it has been mentioned on stream that the ships would be available separately and in the bundle.
Just noticed the Saber also has a new experimental. A Gatling gun... with a lock on mechanic. 3s to lock on then it fires on that target non stop till dead. 8s cool down. No power draw. I'm not sold on the 8s lockout or 3s lockon. Has potential to be decent and one of the better available on a zen ship options.
Not sure how I feel about it.... if the kinetic dmg is decent it may be ok. May still sort of suck. 3s is a long time to lock onto something in STO, anything smaller will be dead before. Which I guess is a good thing if it locks out for 8s after finding a target. I think I would have made it a 2s lock on and a 4s lockout. I'll wait to see it though... lately Cryptics history of new experimental is poor. Nothing new in the last while has been worth using. Fingers crossed that the dmg on this makes it worth slotting
depends on shield pen on if it's worth it. I reckon it would take at least 50% shield pen to be worthwhile
Unfortunately for me I don't find the traits or consoles interesting enough to want to buy this but congrats to those finally getting the ships they want.

Also, no introductory sale? Is that revenge for all the years of asking for a T6 Nova?
"Make me" would be my reply if I were that guy.

Chip shortage... and video card prices... i guess..

Hopefully we will soon see a T6 Patrol escort and T6 Emissary!
Is this the first, or there don't seem to be many ships, that are Miracle Worker with fleet versions?
6k zen seems a bit pricey for the 2 little ships so if no decent introductory sale I'll probably pass for now.
Is he having a booster shot every week then?
Personally I think it's cool and better to be inspired by a crab than a toilet seat.
I like the design much more than its predecessors. Out of the 2 its the Da Vinci I've got my eye on.
