From Reddit. Kael teased this in the last few seconds of this weeks livestream.

I wont be doing a livestream summary this week since it was pretty much just Kael and his guest talking about Star Trek day, and their history with Star Trek, rather then any real game news. They did comment about possibly turning down the frequency of Leeta's quips in Counterpoint due to how often they play, how they wish it was easier to do Holodeck content, and how some of the ESD lines had made it into some playthroughs of the new TFO before they got taken out.

Hmm, in a now deleted tweet the official STO twitter account said the Parliament will be available next week, along with weapons and uniforms. After deleting the tweet they then tweeted this:

If it is C-Store it'll be because of the negative reaction to the Inquiry, but I wouldn't hold my breath since weapons and uniforms are coming too. Only other possibility is if the weapons and uniform are the next event reward, which I doubt.

being its LD based, its LB for sure. thats my bet. and im talking ship and all. maybe, just maybe, lobi for uniforms and weaps. but doubtful.

For the weapons I'd prefer LB over Lobi, LB weapons can at least be purchased from the exchange.

we will be waiting. nothing today from what i can see, and as it was, the tweet was removed and that usually indicates something was wrong or they sent out the wrong tweet. meaning, it wasnt ready, or it wasnt supposed to be this stuff.

They probably sent the tweet out a day early by accident, and I wouldn't expect to hear anything until between 11AM EST and 1PM EST, that's the window where news usually comes out.

I hadn't considered that possibility, but they haven't done that with new uniforms or weapons in a very long time so I doubt that as well, lockbox + Lobi Store really seems like the most likely possibility.

Well, that's that then. Some may have foolishly hoped that the Inquiry was just a fluke, and that modern era ships were for the C-store rather than lockboxes, but apparently that logic is completely gone now.

To put is as simply as possible: if it's in a new show, it's going in a box. That means both ships and uniforms, even if they are from STO's own approximate time period.

All of that said, I'll be picking up the uniforms for sure. I don't care for this particular ship, but will get the California class whenever it comes out.

And that will likely be an Infinity Promo ship, of which my luck has sucked so bad, I have not gotten a single khest'n ship out of. (The Disco-D7 I chose from the event, and the Annorax from the Lobi offer, don't count - because I didn't get them out of the box.) Meanwhile, I see this one guy - you may all have seen it - getting three or four ships out of those boxes every five minutes. It's nuts.

This is getting well and truly absurd. We get, what, two, maybe three ships a year that go into the C-store (as something other than the hilariously out-of-the-average-player's-budget Mudd's Market and Legendary bundles)?

Cryptic isn't even pretending to care about the average player anymore.

Yeah there's no need for any kind of organization against lockboxes in this game. The dilithium exchange is a player driven economy like they have stated in the past. Plus legislation on banning virtual gambling was delayed due to the pandemic but it will resume and that is the reason why they are pushing all this into lockboxes and high priced legendary packs. Plus most players know there is absolutely no given chance no matter how much you spend that you will get the desired content you want. However if they had a plan to continue the game after this legislation passes they would have already begun to move away from it. So what that tells me is there is a good chance if you spend money on this game the content if you got what you were paying for that the game won't even be operating 6 months to a year from now.

Yes, that was my thought, too. He's basically saying, "You've got lots already, you have no business asking for new content". Kind of insulting, to be honest.
