Captain specializations

something I am unsure on is, do you get any passive boost from mastering specializations you do not have as primary and secondary. the example I would give is say I master temporal, pilot, and command, I select command and temporal do I get any bonus from pilot?

For myself, I wish that the various specializations were limited to the main player character solely to differentiate their skill set, kits and modules from that of the regular bridge officers. Although training bridge officers for such specialized roles depending upon their bridge seats for the proper ship could remain a thing!
