Kael mentioned that it isn't Temporal. We just had Delta recruits & Klingon recruitment is too new to be reran now, so the last thing we have is a Gamma rerun.

One of the two ships is probably the new summer event ship, the other I'm guessing is either the T6 Oberth or a new Legendary bundle, maybe a Legendary Jem'Hadar ship for the probable Gamma recruit rerun?

I've heard that consoles have had their Gamma recruit trackers updated with new tasks, so that's very likely it. We've seen revamps teased of the Oberth and Steamrunner, so probably those unless one is a new Jem for the recruitment. I don't know how they'd go for a single Legendary for a faction that starts at level 60 already, as leveling boost wouldn't make much sense.

Well, not staying up to watch the Livestream - could someone please post here when they confirm the rather predictable reveal of Gamma Recruit event, T6 Oberth and T6 Risan Cruiser? Thanks

The Steamrunner was implied to be something we wouldn't actually see in-game until close to the end of the year.

I think a T6 Risian Cruiser is a given, considering its the only summer ship to not get a T6 upgrade, and we're getting closer to the Summer Event, which thankfully is a lot more low key than other events.

T6 Oberth was also revealed as the other ship in the bundle, they acted like it was a mid-stream decision to reveal it but I'm pretty sure it was planned all along.

I was initially excited when they revealed the Malachowski and said that it could use the Miranda parts, but then it turned out to be another 4/4 cruiser and I got disappointed again just like with the Reliant. It can use cannons which is a step closer to how I envision the Miranda, but I still feel that it's aggressive appearance is more fitting for either a 5/3 tac heavy cruiser or a 5/2 escort.

    ITS A CANOE!

Joking aside both ships look interesting. And we're getting a TMP kind of bundle... dang it my plans are in flux! Do I stay the course for getting the Mudd pack or see what's coming in the new bundle because my Space Barbie demands more outfits and stuff?

Another interesting tidbit was talk about adding Pioneer parts to the Miranda line. They may consider it if they do a new Pioneer design. Which to me sounds like they may have it on the whiteboard somewhere already.

Also @reyan01 a bit of news for you. While they didn't say anything about a T6 Nova yet (they said that and a T6 Saber are probably the next things they will get nagged about now that the T6 Oberth is coming), they have plans to start divorcing model revamps from T6 releases, so a revamped Nova model may be on the way at the very least.

I'm hoping the 'minor' update to the Gamma Recruit Event is Vorta added to the faction.

It was changes to the various recruit objectives, no new species. Sounds like the next species to get added to the game will probably be Disco Andorians, and it sounds like they are a good ways out as well.

We have that already - it's called a Dreadnought Cruiser - why didn't they just use that instead of making up ANOTHER ship type?

Actually they were more like what Flight Deck Cruisers were supposed to be, and Cryptic mentioned(since someone brought it up) about possibly reclassifying the Command Battlecruisers into this new class since they qualify.

    Thank you for the update.

You'll forgive me if I say I'm not encouraged by this info though. Firstly, have heard it all before. Secondly, that statement completely ignores the fact that some of us have been "nagging about" for this for over seven years. Thirdly, it really feels like this is a case of 'I guess we'll have to consider this since there is hardly anything else left'.

To expand on my previous comments, taking more lines from the live-stream.
-Based on the Multi Mission Science Vessels, but a cruiser version.
-Devs point out this is pretty much what a Flight Deck Cruiser used to be.
-Admits Flight Deck Cruisers had issues due to how they gave them their powers, which were a mix of Cruiser and Carrier abilities.
-This poor ability combo led to them not being very loved by the playerbase, which is why they went back and changed them to be more of true carriers.
-Says this leaves a gap of a smaller, one hanger bay, ship.
-Points out that the other similar cruiser class, Dreadnought Cruisers, doesn't fit this category by its very name.(Drednoughts are larger ships, not small nimble ships like the Malachowski).
-Is meant to be like a Strike Wing escort is for Tactical ships.
-Looked at what made Multi Mission Science vessels, and Strike Wing Escorts so good compared to Flight Deck Cruisers. Multi Missions/Strike Wing Escort do the things their class does plus a few things. Compared to Flight Deck Cruisers which did minus a few things.
-These new ships use cannons, have one hanger bay, have two cruiser auras(Weapon System Efficiency, Shield Frequency Modulation) Normal cruiser mastery like how MMSV have normal science mastery.
-Can't use frigates. Can only use shuttles/fighters.

If the rumor about them doing recruitments as a regular thing in the future and it takes the same pattern as this year then it would be first quarter is Delta, second quarter Klingon, third quarter Gamma, fourth quarter AoY.

For me the third quarter would be vacation time since to me Gamma is an unacceptably boring grind since I cant get into the mindset of a Jem'Hadar character at all. In fact, a lot of people will probably ignore it again (from what I heard during the last Gamma recruitment) since many don't like genderlocked content like Gamma is currently.

The two new ships look good and sound interesting as c-store ships (and it really does need more ships), though I hope the summer ship is still going to be the Risan luxury cruiser so the full set will be available.

I saw the new Summer ship on Risa last night. It seemed parked above the ocean much closer to the shore than previous ships. I had my Discovery Klingon Recruit Character there to get the Master Relaxer Accolade done. I was lucky, I ran into the Mok'bara Klingons right away.

Judging from those pictures i can only describe the new ships as hideous.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Doesn't matter what we think - in the Oberth's case it was based on a design that "Thomas really wanted to do".
And ships that Mr "I specifically want" likes apparently takes priority over all else.

Well, if they have good traits or good true-universal consoles, they'll be on my radar at least. Longstanding issue with many ships offered on the store -- the console might be good, but it's locked to specific ships and the trait is mediocre, or the console and the trait are mediocre. It's amazing how many ships fall into one of those two categories. Something like 2/3rds to 3/4ths of the ships I've looked at. Many of them don't even have a decent admiralty card as a consolation prize.

Unless they are making c-store ships for the KDF, Rom and Dom factions...actually yeah those of us who don't use feddie bear ships can very much say they didn't put anything there.
