Looking for new in game mechanics

I know, most new released consoles have standard mechanics. But some times we get some new like hold from Tholian Web Array. For me (and maybe some other players) will be nice to see new few mechanics (few new consoles).
First one console that have active abilities to destroy pets that already launched to get few percent (2-3%) of bonus damage per launched pet. And maybe some more bonuses. We have some consoles that based on buff of them. But will be fun to see buffs of ship's damage instead of pets by disabling\destroying them.
Second one console with passive divert push mechanic into a pull (and reverse pull in push). It can give new life for many forgotten other old console with "+repel". And I think funny to see GW with pull. Yeah, I know for GW it's looks like useless but for other can be.
And please, if some of this mechanics will be released in a close future don't set this consoles in promo ship. Give it in poor mass :) Like in box solo consoles. Will be glad to see what players thinking about that.

    Push/Pull mechanics already exist. A doff can convert Tractor repulsors into pulling for example. Grav Wells already pull and there is a Boff ability, which alot of people hate because it causes a group of NPC's to be repelled away.

    Detonating Pets is interesting, but it would probably be a KDF only ability to 'Ram' only.

    Some of the Jem Hadar and Herald fighters have Ramming Speed as part of their kit. A trait to cause them to have a Hurq-like warp core breach on death might be interesting though.


    As for new mechanics.. I have a laundry-list of things I've wanted to see added for a very long time. However, seeing as we don't appear to even have any new specializations or reputations on the horizon, any new mechanics will probably be limited to one-off gimmicks that are restricted to specific (promo/premium) ships(Like the Voth Aceton Mode or the Son'a Collector Sails/Mode).

    Considering we can't even have aft-mounted single cannons after all this time, I've pretty much given up that we'll ever get more baseline equipment additions. Even things like Experimental Weapons are a coinflip as to whether or not a new ship will have new one. ..I don't remember how long it's been since we've gotten a new Secondary Deflector(which would be a good candidate for something like a 'Vacuum' mod that causes stuff like Photonic Shockwave to pull instead of push, etc.).

    Anyways, the advent of T6 made it very clear that experimentation is something you have to pay through the nose for. With how much they've been trying to squeeze us recently, I wouldn't expect any new mechanics to be added without a considerable pricetag.

    I know about Tractor repulsors, but I don't like this cos it's pull only 3 target in close range (about 3-5 km). And second problem of this it's pull close to you, so you get a lot damage from warpcore detonation. Yes, I would like to see only conversion of "+repel" to "-repel" . But I think all mechanics have chance to be, so if it's convert "-repel" to "+repel" - well it's should be too

    Ofc it's can be not balanced. Like Soliton Wave Generator can deal a lot of damage taking ships in cloud. But realy, who think about balance in STO? :) If we will have this we chose better way to use this
