Not all T5 ships are the same..., Rear Admiral, Lower Half

With the Rear Admiral, Lower Half ships available in the T5 Infinity Box, it'd be nice to be able to upgrade those ships (like the Mirror Titan), just like the other T5s, but this isn't the case.

I know there are bigger fish to fry, but considering that (as far as I know) there won't be any more T5 that are going to be made, finishing off the plate, I mean remaining few T5s for T5-U upgrades, would be a good thing, yes?

After all, you need to upgrade a T5 to a T5-U to finally upgrade it to a T5-X

That would be a nice change for those who want to fly these ships instead of a T6.

Yes, this would be nice to have as an option, especially for those who haven't got the funds for a T6.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

It was stated, back when T5U was created, that certain ships (namely the mirror ships) would not be eligible.

Yes, but we can dream :) . Since then we've gotten scaling T6, Romulan ships for all and now all ships for all and T-X so things do change.

I suppose that ineligibility for U-upgrades might make a little sense considering that in Mirror, Mirror the mirror Enterprise had the older engines (the ones that were so badly damaged in Where No Man Has Gone Before that they popped the old nacelles off and replaced them entirely once they limped back to the nearest repair yard), but it does make the Terran Empire less credible as a threat.
