A 500Zen a month Stipend like PC does? This is the biggest reason for a lot of people to get the lifetime. yeah the ships are nice and all, but without the stipend it makes upgrading a big cash/time sink. yeah I do realize game needs to make money but seriously why is PC have a larger advantage? Not trying to complain but, the lifetime on consoles might attract a bit more attention if it was the same as PC. Just saying.

Two reasons:
- The price is $100 less, that covers the first 20 months of stipend
- Sony doesn't like giving cash shop currency without them getting their cut
I have heard in the past that it is because "the Xbox and Playstation stores are not capable of monthly stipend without a monthly charge". Maybe that is true, but we will never know. It is what it is.
Oh ok that makes sense and are you sure its $100 cheaper I don't Recall. But to counter the 500Zen a month stipend it would be sort of nice if they gave lifetime a discount in some form on the cost of the Dilithium Phoenix boxes. Heh or somewhere else to compensate slightly I am grateful for the efforts in the new T6 ships. the one thing I did notice about the ships though is all 3 are exactly the same. if they changed it however say each ship had its own class type I.E. one Tac, one Science configuration, and one Engineer configuration. THAT in itself would also be a big help as well! just some ideas.

Also 3rd reason,
It is in the zen store, which people can grind dillithium to get

Other said it, but I'll repeat.
1. You can grind it FOR FREE on Console as it's in the Zen Store. PC you can only buy it for cash from the website, so it can not be got for free.
2. It's about 66% the price of PC because of the lack of stipend.
Other than that, Console LTS gets exactly the same stuff as PC.
It would be a stupid, costly decision to allow a Zen stipend on a potentially free product on Console.

XBox doesn't either....people on the forum have been claiming for years it's because M$ won't allow it on XBox but the Fallout 1st stipend in Fallout 76 proves that isn't why. I suspect it's because they aren't making enough money off console players so they have to maximize costs.

It's not. I have Fallout 1st on XBox, and I get 1650 atoms on the 20th of every month, and have been well before M$ even approached Zenimax for a buyout.
Edit - erm, wait....maybe you have a point there. "without a monthly charge" may be the reason, I never heard it put that way before.
Cryptic hasn't been able to offer the same zen charge bonus sales on Xbox and PlayStation because of different rules between the two. On Xbox you always get the same zen, but sometimes the package goes on sale. For Sony they had to do something like sell the items for less instead.

List price is $300 on PC.

That's because each faction only gets "their" small craft, T5 and T6 ships, not all 10 (unless that changed recently).
