Stuck queued for First Contact Day TFO

I just had an issue with the First Contact day task force where when I beamed on to the map I kept getting Map transfer error message repeatedly, so I left the map. Now I'm stuck queued for the the task force. I can't leave the queue or join any other TFO. I submitted a ticket ( haven't heard back from them yet..too soon ) and decided to post this here to be one step ahead of support as they seem to always tell people to post a message here.

    I’m having similar problems, but instead of a map transfer error, it almost always cancels the queue because too many people apparently cancelled out of it and the server had to start a new one. Now, I could see where it might happen on rare occasion, but damn near every time I try to queue up, rinse and repeat, ad naseum? What would be the point of constantly starting a queue then leaving it over and over again? Is that fun to some people? Do we have an army of trolls that have suddenly overtaken STO just in time for First Contact Day? No... something else wonky is going on here.

    *Update*

    Weekly maintenance fixed this issue.

    When this happens, either switch map or change instance, whichever is available. Sometimes it gets stuck in a loop.
