Well technically the Breen were part of the Dominion. ;)

The Breen were in the same boat as the Cardassians, an Alpha Quadrant race that allied with the Dominion.

Please no more reputations. I also don't want the game to be stagnant and to also have new things to do. I support revamping the offerings of the reputations we currently have and fixing bugs in regards to certain set pieces of said reputations.

Which adds nothing to the game...most people don't even use rep weapons...I can't remember the last time I saw yellow polaron or rainbow antiproton weapons, why add things people aren't going to use?

I'll never understand how so many anti-mmo players play a mmo...it's like they don't want the game to advance and progress how every other mmo does.

No wonder the devs can get away with being so lazy, I guess the typical sto player likes being treated like garbage and doesn't want to do anything but watch the big numbers add up in the easiest tfo in the game.

Contrary to you, revamping the reputations would add more build diversity to the game. I and others are not against MMOs. I want the game to advance and progress just not the way you want it to progress and advance. The devs are not lazy and I don't think anyone likes to be treated like garbage.

What will it add? A bunch of new weapons almost no one will use? What build diversity when almost everyone stacks the same abilities?

Do you even play STO? You talk like you have no idea how the game works. I rarely see ANYONE use rep weapons...it's mostly just phaser or disruptor as those are the strongest. I never see anyone use yellow antiproton or green polaron...no lavender polaron or green phasers. But yes...adding more weapons that people wont use will add so much to the game as opposed to actual content! :D

It will add build diversity. How do you know that almost no one will use them if they were added? We already have had weapons added from lockboxes, missions, events, past reputations, etc into the game. I do not stack the same abilities neither am I knowledgeable about such things at my current rate of development.

Yes, I do play STO and came to this game shortly after it became F2P and at one point I felt too overwhelmed to even begin the journey. I use the rep Romulan plasma beams on my Romulan character Ljun, who flies a Romulan Dyson ship. I also use fleet and other gear on my main tactical character. I started off with a cruiser and decided to move from that to an escort on him. I am a casual F2P player, still upgrading, and still learning. I play new missions on my main Fed, working on some accolades on my main (the Path to 2409 at Starfleet Academy, etc. Participate in TFOs if there is an event going on usually at Normal since I know my build is not where I want it to be and would not cut it for Advanced and Elite content. I have several toons, a tac Fed main, an eng Fed Delta Recruit, a sci TOS Temporal Recruit, a tac KDF, a tac Romulan, a tac DSC toon, a tac Fed'Hadar, and an eng Klingon Recruit. Since last time I did not create a Delta Recruit when it was rerun, I will create another KDF character for that and maybe in the future a Romulan. I do not play the meta, I play for fun and the Star Trek universe.

What do you mean I talk like I have no idea how the game works? Are you saying this just because I disagree with you on things? As for content, I am good with them adding more content such as missions, ships, etc. I just don't think a new reputation is the answer when we already have a lot of reputations or a new fleet holding when we have a lot of fleet holdings which is why I support reputations, fleet holding, and the Fleet system itself being revamped. I also support a revamp of the skill tree, a tailor revamp, and a ground revamp like they did in space with the bars. I also support optimization and making Lighting 2.0 work (see DS9 when under Lighting 1.0 when I constantly have to change my settings so I can see where I am going) instead of crashing a lot of time in space but usually not on ground. Finally, as for your motto, you are not showing me and garaffe any respect instead especially with me, it seems to always become a fight which I do not want it to be.

Because I play the game...and I don't see anyone use those rep weapons. Like I've said...I never see anyone use yellow antiproton or green polaron...no green phasers or lavender polaron. Rep weapons are often trash, more expensive to upgrade...that are nothing more but ec fodder.

Standard weapons can be crafted with pen or you can get lock box weapons which sometimes have decent to even useful stats/procs compared to rep weapons.

Sucks some people are so selfish that space barbie for a few people is more important than new content for everyone... :/

What does this discussion have to do with space barbie? Rounding out space reputation sets has nothing to do with visuals. It is about making all weapon sets include all energy types, and making all equipment sets complete with warp/singularity cores and 4-pc bonuses.

Speak for yourself. I almost exclusively use rep weapons, and I am fairly confident many other casual players like myself use rep weapons. Believe it or not, we casual players outnumber you high end, max DPS, all-our-builds-are-the-same players. Just because YOU don't want to increase the diversity and versatility of rep builds, does not mean that no one does.

LOL...I'm not even a min/maxer...I haven't even ran a single elite tfo ever.

I run normal or advanced depending on character gear and if I want the run to be super quick. Even in normal I don't see anyone using ANY of the rep weapons. So I'm sorry if I don't take the testimony of a single (biased) player against the thousands of tfos I've ran

I have about thirty characters spread across two accounts, over half of them have ships built around reputation weapon sets. In fact, I only have a few ships that do not use rep weapons at all (like the fairly recent one I did based around Ba'ul weapons). In fact, some of my ships have nothing but rep sets mixed together.

What is funny is that now and then someone will tell me that I should pick an energy and stick with it, that "skittles" ships are not practical, when in fact it IS all one energy, just all different colored versions of it.

As for the all reps having all energies thing, I think that would detract from the theme aspect of the reputations though some of them should be expanded a little at least. At the very least a lot of the reps need more weapon type options in their sets.

I would not mind new reps either as long as they have a good reason for the rep itself.

In regards to reputation gear a lot of my older alts use them to good effect. My first alt still uses the four piece Iconian set which is maxed out and is tanky enough. My Romulan and Reman use the full space set plus the full weapon set. Newer alts use some of the Discovery gear including the Lorca console and the dark matter torpedo set. The kinetic cutting beam and the Borg console are always scattered in there somewhere on some builds. I get what is being said about the reputation gear not being great overall but it still has use, especially for newer alts that are levelling. Plus some of the gear is quite good especially if you have the Temporal alt bonus of the tier 13 ultra rare quality.

Regardless, as someone who enjoys the Breen ships, and uses the Breen space set and consoles on them, I suppose I'd be in favor of a new reputation for them. But with all of the other grinding we get in game it certainly wouldn't be a priority for me.

Oh don't get me wrong, note the updated post I made above.

I'm surprised they don't expand several reputations.

For Dominion they could technically add Cardassian Space &/or Ground Sets perhaps even a few weapons. I also wonder if they will eventually revise the Breen conflict, to eventually bring the end to align with a more Dominion allied view.

Though I think they moved the first release Winter Breen outfit to the Lobi store now. Still they could do an alternative Breen (inspired) Ground Set in Dominion.

As I said I'd love to see a Romulan &/or Reman Ground set each slightly different; perhaps with republic variations. It honestly be nice to be able if your a Main Faction Ally, also be able to visit New Romulus Command, aside from just the Embassy for those in Fleets.

Yeah, it's not exactly a great selling point for future alliances when barely a few months into the first one and your side loses the entire war.

As for another rep...the OCD in me wants one more to make an even number (probably Fek'ihri because Cryptic has been pushing them HARD lately), but after that...no more, and no more tiers either, unless the T7 unlock is to make rep itself account-wide so I don't ever have to do the garbage I am STILL doing with T6 across all my characters.

Let's see what Breen stuff we can already get from the game via other means:
    -a Breen Boff
    -Breen shield, engines and deflector
    -Breen Doffs
    -Breen suits
-Breen warp core and ice-themed abilities (both space and ground ones) during the winter events (THAT one still-not-fixed bug aside, of course)
    -all Breen ships
-various cold-themed weapons that while not explicitly said to be Breen are fairly close.

The only things that could be added are Breen cold-themed weapons and traits, but the Tholian reputation already gives those, to the point where you could argue the Tholian rep is actually a disguised Tholian Vs Breen rep.

So overall, a sole Breen reputation would be completely redundant.

If we get another rep I think we should get an "Alliance" rep.

That's perhaps one that might be welcomed by many players. Yet I still think they'd be best to consider adding Project Gear from to several Reputations. Romulan or Reman don't have a Ground Set, and maybe they could get creative with a few others.

My main issue with the Tholian rep ground weapons is that they are best used as a 3-pc set, which is impractical in 99.9% of the game because there is no combat armor, just EV suits. So I would like to see them create combat armor equivalents for those EV suits, like they did with the Disco rep.

It would be a nice bonus to see the old 3-pc space equipment sets receive warp/singularity cores and a 4-pc bonus.

Ye gods.. Please just say no to more rep grinds.

Unless progress is universal. Otherwise, just no. There's just too much grind already. If anything, I agree with updating set bonuses, etc... Add content, not grind.

Maybe Cryptic never gave the Romulans a reputation based ground set because there's already two reward sets in the game: Romulan Imperial and Furtive Resistance. Both sets are at least decent for bridge officers when you're leveling and I always give one to my Reman reward officer.

We will never know why Cryptic never gave the Romulan Rep a ground set, but I can tell you it wasn't because of the Imperial Navy or Romulan Operative set, because those sets did not exist when the Romulan Rep was made.

My main problem with the Imperial Navy set is that there is no way to put the full set on a BOFF because the 3rd piece is a kit frame.

The Romulan Operative set is good for BOFFs in theory until you take a closer look at the polaron pistol. That pistol SUCKS! The only way the pistol is any good is if you are flanking and stealthed, and the AI for BOFFs is not smart enough to ever use it effectively. Good set for a tactical captain, but thats about it.
