2021 Event Campaign Points Eligibility

I see that it says that there are only 5 events in the campaign but one of the events is for captains 50 or higher. What happens to the players who couldn't participate in the event because of not have a captain high enough? Is there going to be an event for them that way they can earn enough points for the grand prize or are they going to be left to hang?

Which one? The first event allowed anyone over level 10 to participate.

Also, it's not too hard to reach level 50 over one weekend, so you could have created a character on day 1 of event 1 and easily have reached level 60 with time to complete that event.

There are 35 spare days out of the 105 total over 5 events. You can have skipped one event completely and still have 14 spare days.

No. It wasn't needed for event 1, and you have plenty of time to level a character before event 2 begins since it hasn't started yet. If you missed event 1 because reasons you still have those 14 spare days.

If there is an event that depends on TFOs then chances are it is not available to anyone under level 50 unless it includes a non-TFO alternate activity.

And leveling someone up to 50 takes longer than one weekend unless you can spend the entire thing playing it and have the funds to buy up all the experience boosters and whatnot, along with the equipment to do it efficiently. In other words, experienced players can do it with alts easily enough, but a new player (especially a casual one without a lot of time to play in one sitting) would have trouble doing that in just a few days.

Running Patrols (Kinjer etc) especially on Elite (till level 50) give out XP way in advance of any other content and are easy money. You can hit 65 in less than 18 hours easily.....and that's without ANY booster. Hitting 50, did not take me that long, and with boosters and a boost XP event, you can do it in 5-6 hours easy.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

The event versions of TFOs usually (always?) allow level 10s to join, they are scaled up to 50+.

Which events count towards 3.500 Progress and which ones don't? I just want to be sure that I'm on the right track.

Was the second event not the borg red alert which was for 50 and up.

Not everyone has the experience to be able to level up very quickly nor does everyone have the time to play more than an hour or two a day just as phoenixc#0738 has mentioned. And unless you have a fleet that will go with you to do the heavy lifting most players who are new and those who don't have strong builds can't play elite and make it through.

No. That was an in-between event like the current First Contact Day event. It did not count. There has only been one of the five events so far. You can see this by going to the events tab.

Is first contact day part of the event counter?

    No.

If you go to the events tab then the campaign event you can see that it has had one sub-event so far and that already ended. You can see 4 empty spaces for future events.

Well first off as people identified it's 50 progress each day, you have to do at least 14 days to earn the individual reward.

NOTE: Don't stop, once you earned the 14 days advancement, you earn Dilithium Ore every day along on one toon per account with another 50 progress. If you continue doing it every 20-24 hours you can earn 1050-1200 progress in total. Though I suspect 1050 is far more likely for most, as only a few run every 20h as it doesn't fit most people schedule.

And yes with 4 events remaining, you can still earn 1050+ each event so still plenty of time to finish! Or even just progress as far as you can, and consider a buy out option with 1-4 days in each remaining, as that will advance your progress further ahead! It will also allow you to still earn 50 more each day + Dilithium Ore a bit sooner.

    So hope that helps you.

Those that show as part of the Event Campaign when it's listed (above), the two lower tiers are for non current event rewards. Right now for example the First Contact Day is listed (above) as it's not part of the Event Campaign III Rewards.

I guess I'll wait for the meta event to come to consoles then, thanks for the info.

Is the Kobayashi Maru event that is wrapping up this week the final chart to earn points for the reward or will there be another part for the xbox, and if so, any idea when it might be?

    thanks!
