I am having a hard time completing TENEBRIS TORQUENT in the caves. I can't seem to make the jumps required to move the mission forward. If you were on a team, could another player help you progress this story?
Normally yes would be the answer, but if I remember correctly that is one of the missions that states it must be completed solo.
However, even I have the above wrong, a couple of years ago I remember trying to team up for this mission. While it allowed it to be launched while teamed, it still loaded us into separate instances.
Likely the only advice I can give is to make sure you are already running (Shift key down) before the jumping starts to make the longer jumps.
For most missions, if both of you have accepted the mission and can do so together, you'll be able to do it together and get full rewards.
I can't remember if that's one of the Solo only missions, but if you can do it together, you often still have to clear certain hazards and progress to key points together.
Call me "El," she/her only. I love my wife and I don't care who knows it!
Episodes tell you via the contact in their description of the mission whether it is solo or not. It's usually in yellow.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
