Captains, two pieces of news:
1) The 2021 Anniversary Legendary Bundle will now also contain 500 Lobi. Enjoy!
2) We're making a change in the game to make Admiralty, Doffing, TFOs and Patrols only available post-tutorial for all factions.
We know people enjoyed the process of creating an Unaligned Romulan or characters who stay in the past. Unfortunately, this ability has been used in far too many exploits over the years, necessitating it's removal. Thank you for understanding.Captains, two pieces of news:

Wow that's great stuff still not paying 250 dollars or 10 million dilithium for a few ships lol.
It might be more worth its money if more stuff from the lobi store were account unlocks. If players spend that much on a single account-wide package and Cryptic thinks more value is needed in that package for that large sum of money, then it would be fair if that added value isn't a thing that's only usable on a single character.
I'm not trying to be picky here. I just believe that C-store packs that are sold at very high prices, should contain sufficient high-value items for the entire account.

I know it sounds silly, but I've been holding back to try to get the most of the bundle. But there's others who reached level 65 with their Klingon Recruit character(s) before the announcement of the bundle.
Just to be clear & in case you're unaware, ANY KDF character at level 65 will unlock this new mechanic for the account.
The problem solver here is not to add more bloat, but to remove all the bloat (keys promo packs T6 coupons useless cross-faction unlock etc), and then to remove all that bloat cost from the bundle, reduce the bundle price to make it actually realistic/justifiable for potential buyers, and then of course to fix the mediocre ships to make them actually legendary and worth buying.

Just in case you are unaware, I know well enough any KDF character will unlock this new mechanic to the account.
Yeah, I read the original post on this. Which is why I asked about a discount for those who have unlocked it.
Did you know that it is unlocked when a player logs on their level 65 KDF character? I haven't done so on purpose. So the Unlock is still available in the C-Store.
Considering how it easy for what is worth 2000 Zen item in the Zen Store, there's no point of having it propping up the cost of the bundle.
I agree about it being used a to "prop-up". I think the majority of players & buyers of this bundle will already have that "Command Any Ship" mechanic already unlocked. I know in the past Cryptic had some discounting based-off of some already owned ships but I doubt, hope I'm wrong, Cryptic will discount based-off of an in-game Service. Doing so could sort of be interpreted as knowing that including that Service is a gimmick imo.
The bundle still doesn’t interest me, but it’s nice that Cryptic is making an effort to increase the value. For me personally, I would have been more interested in having things removed from the bundle to lower then cost as opposed to having things added to further justify the cost. My biggest issue with these bundles so far is the addition of things I don’t really want or need and having to absorb the cost of those items.
The effort is appreciated, but I respectfully suggest that Cryptic instead consider a removal of items with an appropriate cost reduction instead. Thanks for your time.

I'm displaying even more of my ignorance with this question/idea but if those ship coupons aren't already perhaps making them like the giftable ship coupons that way you & others like you could at least sell them???

Wow, okay. There seems to be a bit of a disconnect between the Devs/marketing and the players. I have piles of Lobi just sitting in my inventory. Why? Because Lobi items are single character unlocks and I'm an altaholic. If I were to get a Lobi item, find out I like it then want to switch to a different character and use that item on the other alt, oh wait, I can't unless I buy it again. Pass. There should be a way to make single character unlocks into account unlocks, but that apparently is never going to happen. And since it won't happen, *I* have zero interest in getting those items. Which means I don't gamble on lockboxes.
Even after unlocking it with an old lvl 65 KDF character, the unlock is still showing in the C-Store. At least it was for me yesterday when I looked. Had a fleetmate mention it so I went and looked and sure enough, still purchasable.

I noticed it was still there but it wasn't allowing me the option to purchase it, it was greyed-out for me.
Well, I have 4 legacy KDF on 2 accounts that have an issue with this. They never finished a tutorial because when they started there was no tutorial for KDF (they started out as an unlock and were level 20 to begin with and had no storyline to speak of. I have been away for awhile so if some after patch script from a year or 2 was supposed to fix it, it no longer does since I came back a couple months ago. The characters are stuck in DS9 and Drozana stations, they can go out and orbit the stations but can't go out to galaxy space. use mission transwarp, Join Q at his location etc (have a ticket open on it (421574).
But, like all your patches it doesn't seem to be 100% accurate. These characters can't do TFO, Events like Q's and the Phoneix, but they also can't do R&D (unless that is lumped under doffing), but they still can do Admiralty.
Probably a dumb question but if they pop out into space can they transwarp to Quonos? Perhaps there's a mission they can pick up there or finish/start the tutorial?

When I 1st saw this on Twitter, I thought - "ok, this doesn't affect me, but good to know for the future" as all my current characters have completed their respective tutorials & for those that need to, chose a faction to align with. Today, though, I was on my main character & I was looking for a certain item that I then remembered was on my Fed aligned Dominion character. I switched to them, found the item & went to a bank console to put it in my account bank so my main can have it back. Well, I kept getting 'You cannot access the Account Bank at this time' message. All my other characters can access it, but not this one. This 'new requirement' post mentions nothing about the account bank. So, I did some searches, & found nothing from Cryptic regarding this, but some people assumed it was the case. Now, if you have to have completed the tutorial & choose a faction, then my Fed/Dom has met this requirement (this character was created last year, hence the fact I wrote 'Fed/Dom') but still can't access not only the account bank, but doffs, TFOs or events. So, what is the actual requirement if it's not just the tutorial/faction alignment?
