RETURNING PLAYER REALLY IMPRESSED

bartololongobartololongo Member Posts: 2 Arc User
I thought some positive vibes were needed here.

I am a returning player who was filled with some RL responsibilities (Kids). Recently heard about the 11th Anniversary event and made time to enjoy it. The new pet is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. So much better than earlier ideas. Worf as a bridge officer? Here's hoping we may see Riker in the near future or maybe 7 of 9 etc as a bridge officer. LeVar Burton is a humble and amazing actor. So proud to pay $$ for both. The 11th Anniversary bundle cost me a lot of money. More than I had ever spent but while it hurt my wallet, my entertainment value can't be overstated. And while regular loyal players have issues, I didn't / don't. Also, I REALLY ENJOY (caps lock is control for cool) the bundle ships. My Klingon has never been happier.

I'm playing some missions again and was star-struck by the delta quadrant. The writing is SO GOOD! Bravo!

I know none of you asked, but if you've read this far I must say that I can't remember the last time I had so much fun playing STO. I believe the game has never been better or more fun! THANKS DEVS.

It is in terms of content absolutely, although some will disagree cause they don't like time-gates
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

Honestly like with last years pack for someone who has all the ships (or similar) this pack doesn't offer much but for a new player like you or someone like me who doesn't have much spare cash or time these packs are much better as I probably would not never get a T6 Vor'cha or T6 B'Rell by themselves but in a pack like this, sure they're not "meta" but they're still way better then "not at all".

It's always nice to see old players return for sure, and hopefully find so many new things to do as well.

Good to hear you enjoyed it. I did as well.

I heard there was a bundle for sale but never really looked into it. Glad to hear you're enjoying it. The entertainment value it provides to YOU is the most important thing.

The 11th Anniversary Event awarded me a FREE Fleet Level Tier 6 Temer Alliance Raider. This free ship is the finest raider I've ever flown in my 10 years of playing STO.

A couple other FREE event ships are my Klingon character's other rides so there was no need to spend a dime!

This is one of the great things about Star Trek Online... the quality and quantity of incredible missions that you and your away team can enjoy. Many players find the Delta Quadrant missions special in SO many ways. You're not alone!

Well I did read this far and it's great to hear yet another player share what they find enjoyable about STO. Be sure to post again once you've finished with your missions to share your experience with STO's end-game. There's just SO many things to do!

Thank you all. It's a Heartwarming welcome from you and I'm so happy to be back. I'll check out the Gamma Quadrant and the Klingon civil war looks tasty. Hehe. Soon as I finish grinding this event I'll dive right in.

Welcome back, hope you continue to enjoy your return back to STO, & STO certainly has tons of content to explore old & new.

Hopefully you returned in time to be able to participate in the Klingon Recruitment Event too.
