Klingon Recruitment?

So... I gather this event goes until the 25th (ie. 5 days left). That means there's NO way I'll be able to finish it, given that I work 6 days a week and can't spend all day and night in the game.

So my question is, how do the rewards work? If I create the character, will I continue to get the rewards after the 25th? If not, will the recruitment event happen again so I can continue with the progress?

    If you begin the event, and have the recruit (easy to check, if you have the communicator which shows you what each of the challenges are you good to go) then you can complete it at any time. No one will be able to complete the endeavour challenge completely in the duration of the event (over 100 days time gate required!) They only change I know of when the event ends is the random award of 25 dilithium which pops up a lot for the recruit will likely stop appearing.
    TL:DR? Your fine if you have the recruit communicator having completed the tutorial. No time pressure.

    As long as you have the recruitment device in your inventory and have completed all of the tutorial prior to the end of the event you can work on your recruit at your leisure.

    The end of the recruitment event is not related to the end of being able to progress with your recruit.

    It will be the same as the Gamma Recruit and Temporal Agent the quests will continue long after the event is over and you will still get the rewards as you complete them. Many of the quests will take months to complete like the Admiralty and the Endeavor as well as the Doff Marauding missions. So no need to panic, just take your time.

    Like all recruitment events you just have to make a character and complete the tutorial, once you have the tricorder you can complete it at any time.
