why punish those who buy zen through steam? seriously?

I have been gone for past few years and only recently have gotten back into the game so I decided to buy zen thru steam, since this method has always been quick and easy... next day I get this "due to recent purchase activity you account is temporarily unable to sell zen on the exchange" Im also noticing items purchased are account bound for a week... I like using steam and have a good library of games and other mmo's I have played and have had no problems at all supporting them.. HOWEVER sto seems a different story..Im not expecting an actual explanation since purchases thru steam are guaranteed and not "fraudulent" are they??

    This is STO's anti-fraud system. It is not about punishing those who buy zen through Steam, it is a security measure. You can file a ticket to support and they can turn it off for you.
