    Very nice. I'm not that interested in the keys as I've got basically anything I'd ever want from the boxes, but it's a nice gesture to newer players - who are almost certain to get something they can use.

    I'm already assuming I won't win anything "big" but nevertheless Cryptic didn't have to so (5) chances to STO dream are nice & appreciated!

    Just FYI, the keys are bound to character once claimed, so no selling them. The items you get from the boxes though are unrestricted so they can be sold just fine. Just a heads up for anyone planning to try and sell the keys.

    Last year's giveaways were pretty lackluster from what I remember, hopefully this year is better.

    lackluster is subjective. free is free regardless of what it is or not. i dont think 5 keys are lackluster in any shape. considering you get 5 free chances to get a t6 ship...free is free.

    I'm speaking in comparison to previous years, I can't remember all the giveaways from last year but in prior years there was usually a full week of giveaways with at least one being a uniform from the C-Store, and a C-Store ship at the end. Five keys is nice, but if a few gamble items are the best we get then that's a big downgrade from pre-2020.

    I got very lucky. I got a T6 ship box, a T5 ship box, and 3 weapon boxes.

    I still haven't opened any of them. The T6 ship is very hard to choose. The Mirror Warship and the Crossfield both look very good, but they are Fed only. I am taking my time and trying to look carefully at all the choices.

    I got a Plasmonic Leech from one of the leftover Tal Shiar lockboxes on my Fed-Romulan as a result of the free Master Keys and the rest were DOFFS, some I kept and one had duplicate female names but with different character art.

    It has always been a single day for each giveaway. Day 1, Day 2 etc.

    I'm curious what would be considered an acceptable amount of time for a giveaway? I suspect that even if these free keys were in the store for a month we'd still see complaining.

    Actually, the keys were 24 hours. New days start at 10am pacific and go to 10am the next day. 24 hours. Maint was over by 9:30 pacific time.

    The Anniversary giveaways aee always 24 hours for each one.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    I was working on a mine that week, and even I culd get it.. people complains about everything :lol:
