Dying!

Hello,
Do I lose anything by dying ?
I've died a few times but noticed my mission progress hadn't been lost so could quickly make my way back there and finish the mission ...

    This isnt like Diablo where you lose all your stuff if you die.

    As far as I can tell, you dont lose anything in particular from dying (other than some embarassment - or at higher difficulty settings, you may receive injuries/ship damage that will need to be healed/repaired).
