Mouse and Keyboard UNRESPONSIVE

thetaninethetanine Member Posts: 1,367 Arc User
I just bought the Titan class ship. Outfitted it and went into the Patrol to Assist the Benthan Guard. Everything started out fine, but after a bit of combat, it was as if my keyboard and mouse had been disconnected from my computer. But they weren't. I had to quit and restart the game at this point. I went back into the same patrol but warped out before "the bug" happened again.

I picked a different patrol, but the same thing happened, only faster. The game is now completely unplayable, at least as far as space combat goes.

Has anyone else experienced this or heard of it? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks for reading! =D

The only thing that plaques me for quite sone time now is that the 4th and 5th mouse buttons don't work that well any more, often they don't do anything and I can't initiate combat (I have fire weapons mapped on 4 and fire mines on 5). This isn't tied to the mouse or even the computer itself it seems.

I would reinitialise the game by starting it in Safe Mode (in the Launcher Options). This might help, as it usually fixes alot of 'hardware' issues.
