The most famous Orion ship

I wonder why they literally do not put in the only Gene Roddenberry era Orion ship in the Klingon faction, this ship has got a unique feel that is not like anything before it, OR AFTER IT. The ship should be a T5 or T6 depending that a orion NX era ship is a T6, the generic game Orion ship is a T5 but sadly that is it for Orions in history, the same with Tellarites too, they do not have Vulcan inspired duty outfits like NX vulcan outfits or even Surok outfit he wore in TNG. I ask for support to see who wants this ship in game, how the trait should be, weapons? 5/2 sound right? It was a interceptor so it is flexible. I hope people agree with this ship request

Are you referring to the Orion Scout Ship from TOS? Because there's two versions of it. The original as seen in the 1960s and the version created for the 2007 remaster. Because if its the original from the 1960s... you'd be flying a torpedo visual for all intents and purposes. We didn't actually see the ship until they digitally remastered TOS.

The TOS visual is just the warp field of the ship, between the field density, the speed, and other factors the sensors and computer could not figure out what the ship itself looked like without Spock or someone's help so it just displayed the field.

On the real world production side there were only five models available for use during the entire series so most alien ships were talked about but not seen except for markers on the screen representing their warp fields. Those models were the Enterprise, the D7/D6, the DY100, the First Federation clustership, and the Romulan Warbird which was destroyed in an accident after the episode it appeared in.

I know about the budget reasons for the ship models. But its hard to say if the Remastered version can be classified as "Gene Roddenberry era" or not. Yea the core is TOS as it was back then, but they also included CGI that didn't exist back then, such as the fully modeled Orion Scout Ship in place of that torpedo effect. So is that the ship that was meant to be there? Or was it just something that was made by people who came in long after?

Some people might argue that the remaster is not the same as the ORIGINAL, and thus that ship is not what was envisioned. You know... the people who get so stuck on details that they have a stick up their aft about such things.
I'm not one of them, and I wouldn't mind seeing the remaster ship in STO. I mean we got the Jellyfish and the Tarantula, and they have spinny bits. But there are some people who will split hairs over what is and isn't.
I honestly just want to know if the OP was taking into consideration remaster or original as aired in the 60s.

I actually Would accept this as "Something Roddenberry would've done" (The design who knows) I am a Purest actually being if it wasn't seen in a Movie, mentioned in an Official book or Core TV serials it's not right. Now also considering on TV I watched a show that discussed and showed drawings Roddenberry originally wanted a much more elaborate model for K-7. It had a ring around the hub that connected at the pods, the spires on the pods were drawn much more pronounced Funding limitations (sounds alot like idea's used somewhere else later on). Others as-well. If nowdays we can fill in some of the blanks in a way befitting Roddenberry and his vision/direction, I think it can be done. I really really like to think that blindfold has long since been removed from the bust of Gene Roddenberry years ago.

Not sure what exactly you are referring to. But it may be the Jefferies ring ship which was an early sketch for an enterprise.

Memory Alpha has Jefferies claiming Gene had little oversight on his D7 design... but I really haven’t dug into this topic.

I don't think anybody can know what Design the ship would be just as long as it fits in with others from that culture and Roddenberry's other ships of his era. For the funding issue it was a plan drawing and they also discussed the "Romulan D7" was due to the price of the D7 model it needed to be used often (to validate its cost) and there was nothing left to create a new Romulan ship Model. I see this as filling some of those gaps. Since this topic came out until my initial post I've been searching for a Picture of that plan or a link to that show; no luck.

still why has it not been implemented since the ship shows up in a mission, why is it that they never even use the actual Orion outfits from the show, they was more fishnet and sparkles, leafy or torn, they implemented the metal bikini (Princess Leia) outfit (which i am seriously thinking about since i own the barge calling it "Jabba's Barge" and naming a new character "Princess Leia")

The only clues to Orion ship design they have in TOS are that the intruder that attacked Enterprise had a spherical warp field instead of a spheroid so it was not significantly longer in any one direction, the fact that they are a very ancient and advanced civilization fallen into a brutal dark age and lost much of their technology, and their aesthetics are somewhat similar to the ancient Middle East (or at least Hollywood's idea of that).

The TOS-R Orion scout from Journey to Babel fits those parameters rather well with its somewhat delicate looking but more or less equal in every direction from center design, and if you look at it closely you can see that the hull is actually in worn in trails like the thing has been flying for millennia and the interstellar dust and gas has slowly eroded it a bit. Other than the grunge and wear patterns the hull looks like it was formed in one piece.

The Interceptor design from ENT also fits the aesthetics for a newer, lower tech design with chunkier lines than the "scout" but retaining some of the elegance in the sweeping wings and other design features. It is not a small ship btw, both the windows of the model itself and the relative size when they get close to the NX make them much larger than a runabout and the T'Pau scout, probably close to the size of the B'rel so they would make good raiders or escorts in the game.

Harad-sar's barge (which is the Blackguard in STO) is a good example of Orion technology hitting rock bottom. The design is ugly and brutally pragmatic, with chunky plates with large visible seams on the outside, no elegance, and the only nod to artistic flair is the "tribal" style design painted on it. They seemed to have even lost tractor beam tech and use a tow cable like the NX. The inside is closer to Orion general aesthetics in other series which is the only thing that actually looks Orion about it.
still why has it not been implemented since the ship shows up in a mission, why is it that they never even use the actual Orion outfits from the show, they was more fishnet and sparkles, leafy or torn, they implemented the metal bikini (Princess Leia) outfit (which i am seriously thinking about since i own the barge calling it "Jabba's Barge" and naming a new character "Princess Leia")

People have been asking for the scout ship and the interceptor for a while, but like the T6 Nova the devs are always "getting around to it eventually" and never actually doing it. Nevertheless, a large part of the KDF players run Orions so it would make a lot of sense to bring those two ships in even if they are not well liked by the devs themselves. Of course, CBS may be making it difficult for them but if so I have not heard about it.

Most of what they show in the shows are the dancer's costumes, not everyday wear or the military uniforms of their actual government forces. I suspect that everyday wear and uniforms are probably rather colorful by Federation standards and made of the silk-like material shown in The Cage in civilized parts and the leather and piercings in rougher, more fallen ones.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if "civilian" Orion culture and desgns were closer to what see in TOS and with the ENT interceptor with clothing and general design similar we saw in the Lower Decks holosimulation, while Orions we see in-game and in most series are pirates or members of the Syndicate who are making due with they can buy/rob/build by themselves with limited resources explaining the designs focused more on practicality over decorations.
