Timed-out connecting.

in PC Gameplay Bug Reports
After shard maintenance, went to sign in and timed out 3 times in a row.
'Please check connection speed', Ran Speedtest. Results below, Timed out 2 more times after.

Ping:
21ms

Download:
66.96 Mbps

Upload:
122.02 Mbps

I am again unable to enter STO... Oddity or Maintenance?

    You're not alone. Started timing out for me just about the same time they announced the further extension to the downtime. I think someone has broken something again. :(
    Star Trek Offline is currently online. We apologise for the convenience and are working to remedy the situation.

    Least I have company (Although I would prefer it if we were all in STO).

    Is the downtime over or did I try to get in to early? approximately 12:45PM Eastern

    Looking at the world clock, still got an hour to go.
    This game never fails to amaze. A 2.5 hour downtime going up to 5 hours.

    On a plus side, I was able to login.
    Star Trek Offline is currently online. We apologise for the convenience and are working to remedy the situation.

    Just got to the main screen, noticed that 'server status' was still red! Oh well, better than another 'timed out'.

    Maintenance is run at the time it is, because it was deemed the most "productive" if you will time of day. This has been asked many many many many many times over the years. It is also based on the normal working day of America. Regardless though what ever time maintenance takes place, it will never suit everybody globally.

    What time do they expect STO to come back online? It's changed a couple of times now. Any updates?

    Well the EU & UK players can forget about playing STO tonight. They are now saying 10pm UK, 11pm EU. If we are lucky. "productive" ?

    ERRRRRR no. it says 9pm If it were 10pm it would say 22:00 NOT 21:00

    We will be performing shard maintenance on November 12 from 7-1:00 PM Pacific (15:00-21:00 UTC). Please check the forums.
