I was wondering, compared to the Cardenas, how big are the Sagittarius and Paladin? Let's says in comparison to the T6 Dreadnought Warbirds for example and the Cardenas itself.
I am trying to get a fairly big sized ship. Unfortunately, the Cardenas is way too small for me, and am looking for a zen T6 ship. Comparable to the T6 Dreadnought Warbirds or somewhat similar in size.
If you don't mind something non-Federation, the Chronos is pretty big (not universe huge, but Romulan dreadnaught sized)
I was looking at that one too. Either that or the Ra'nodaire (despite being Rom based). Worst case, I get one now, and the other later lol. Thanks! I will look at both ships more closely and decide based on the specs and console
The TOS themed ships or their future ship counter parts are all quite small IIRC Atlas that's the dreadnought of that set is only about the same size as the Ambassador, 23c are all smaller then 25c ships of the same type.
If you're looking for a larger sized Federation Ship, your biggest are the Odyssey line and the Miracle Worker Cruisers. Those are larger then most Federation ships, but neither is really quite on par with the Scimitar Class. If you're not opposed to an inexpensive Lobi Ship, the Vengeance class is quite large and is a fantastic ship.
The biggest C-Store Fed Ship is indeed the Jupiter, but I could not in good conscience recommend that ship to anyone.
The Odyssey line is about as long as the Scimitar line but isn't as bulky (and that's to the large but rather thin wings Scimitar line looks even bigger from some angles).
The Presidio Class is also a larger ship.. it's almost as big as an Odyssey but not as bulky.
It's not a 'meta' ship at all, but it's still to this day one of my favorites. It looks great and it's really nice to fly. I don't care if it's old and forgotten, I still love the Presido, so much I will likely do the 'unthinkable' and use an Experimental Upgrade on it since one of my Captains actively flies one.
I fly a Jupiter on one of the alt family accts and it's not bad at all. It's quite large and will need turn help, but it's not too bad.
Oh yeah. I have the Jupiter. I couldn't google it earlier, but I did just now. I got that one a while back, but man is it ever odd looking lol. Looks like a fudgcicle. I do like it though for what it's worth.
Yes, but they are sooo ugly.. that's the only buy i regret
Yes the Rom ones are the ugliest in that pack, Fed ones are mostly ugly and Klingon ones are actually good, but from what I understand he looks for Fed ships. Still if he likes big ship he could have a look and decide if he wants to buy any
Looks like a watered down Jupiter, stats wise. And looks wise, looks like a dark Jupiter.
Stats wise, the Eclipse is FAR superior to the Jupiter.
They're not even remotely comparable.
Unless the stats haven't been updated on stog, then no(?) But if they have been updated, then the Eclipse isn't that great. I am looking at these here:
Yeah, for one thing, the Eclipse is a cruiser, while the Jupiter is a science themed carrier.
There really aren't huge Fed ships comparable to the Scimitar-types. The closest, as mentioned, would be the MW Cruisers, the Odyssey types, or perhaps the Command Battlecruisers (as sea mentioned the Presidio). And of course the Jupiter. But even those are maybe half the size of a Scimitar.
Still, as long as they're not as small as the Cardenas, it's a good start!
Unless the stats haven't been updated on stog, then no(?) But if they have been updated, then the Eclipse isn't that great. I am looking at these here:
Why would you think these 2 ships are comparable? one is a 4/4 battle cruiser, the other is a science heavy, 3/3 carrier. They have drastically different bridge officer layouts, different console layouts, different turn rates, inertia, hull modifier, shield modifier.. one has 2 hangers, one cloaks.. they don't look alike, they're drastically different size and intended for different roles.
I am completely confused why we're comparing the Eclipse and the Jupiter, it's like comparing Apples to Motor Oil.
Oh, and one last difference.. The Eclipse.. is actually a good ship.

We can disagree about that, and leave it at that. I only play with Carriers, Dreadnoughts and Cruisers. Science ships are ok if that. As for Escorts, I find them to be glass cannons personally and way too fast for my taste.
To answer your question though, I look at stats as being the hull, shield and turn rate. The rest are not stats, but configurations. But as I said, we can disagree and leave it at that. Whether Cruisers or a mix of something else, I only look at the configurations in between similar configurations from different ships.

and they have the universal console slot too as all MW ships
their pack was released in 2017ish
> I think the original MW pack zen store ships are quite big no matter the faction
