Allegiance Change Option???

Hello STO Team.
1st got to say, Outstanding game!!! Love it.
I would like to suggest a change option.
Would it be possible to create a token in game purchased using ZEN to change your allegiance from one faction to another?
so, if a player would prefer to go from KDF to FED or vise versa.
I would recommend two stipulations
1 - limit it to at the most 2 times per character ( cut down your programming/Code changes )
2 - You would need to quit any fleet for token to be used.
Your thoughts?

    Not gonna happen. Too much of the game is tied to one faction or the other, and too much of the underlying code is organized on the red vs. blue faction breakdown.

    Seriously, think about it. If you switch from Fed to KDF for example, do you get to keep Fed ships do you have for example? Or do they get converted to their KDF equivalent? Oh, hang on, what about Fed ships that don't have a KDF equivalent, like the Prommie for example?

    Just make a new toon.

    You are right, the Klingon ship portion alone would be a nightmare. Scratch my idea, well intended, but bad over all.
