Question for people that tie multiple tray actions to single hotkey.

I have exotic build where I stack up lots of AEs, but it takes time to click all my clickies. When I get to a boss encounter, I want a hotkey where I can either click once and have lots of effects triggered, or rapidly re-click a hotkey to trigger a series of linked effect.

Using STO tray commands, I can tie many tray actions to a single hotkey and then rapidly click that hotkey to cause all the effects to trigger.
HOWEVER, when I do that, I get annoying beep sound due to some tray abilties on cooldown. So if click 8 times, I get 7 loud annoying beeps.

During missions I see other people's buff bars explode from 5 buffs up to 20 buffs and figure they have also hotkeyed many abilities together but it seems they must have a way to eliminate the beep since I dont know how anyone can play with sound on and not be annoyed by that beep.
Is there a trick here I'm missing to prevent boff actions on cooldown from causing beep when hotkeyed?

Don't have an answer, but my keybinds which were copied from various reddit posts trigger a written syntax error constantly despite having pasted them in correctly, but in my case it's easier to ignore the written spam in a quarantined chat channel.

I'm not sure if the game allows activating an entire tray all at once. I just spam a keybind and it cycles from left to right of the tray then starts from left at the end.

The game is quite broken for this anyways as space and ground powers don't reliably toggle, but keybinds do help overcome what the current developers cannot resolve as it is clearly well beyond their understanding beyond their go-to formula of more gamble boxes.

I'm not getting that beep when executing a tray via a single key. When you think about it there's usually going to be a ability on cool down most times the single key is pressed.

For me at least playing full science is the one time I usually manually activate most things and have abilities tied to individual keys as compared to an energy build where I'm using a bind file.

For what it's worth have a look at the console commands page and find (CNTRL+F) "error" and it brings up variants of "Usetrayslot - Execute a tray power, or play an error sound on failure". Perhaps it's related?

I watched an old friend's video to set up my single key tray execute without beeps:

You can make it louder/softer in the audiosettings. It is not only cooldown beeps, but almost every system sound such as the sound from the Omega particle game. Turned of it is very difficult te play. However you only play it during the event of course.
