Themed Bridge Crews...what did you do and how?

Hi all,
With more time on my hands, I thought I would do a themed bridge crew. I was thinking of a Mark Twain theme, but was not sure how to do it. Mark Twain being the captain, I could do, but how to dress the bridge officers??? I was thinking of basing the bridge officers from characters from his books. Maybe something from Time's Arrow? Bridge officers can not wear off duty items can they? But what are you doing and how did you create your unique theme with a bridge crew. Just thought it would be a fun show and tell. PS...Would like a Mark Twain and Vick Fontaine hologram...please Cryptic. Thank you all.

    I Have a Garidian crew and a Breen crew, also a Ferengi one, a Vulcan crew and Andorian one too, wanted a Benzite one, but you now there is no Boffs of those..

    I like the idea of a Mark Twain themed crew. The closest I have come to what you're trying to do is my all Kaminoan ST:DSC era crew. It is a WIP but coming along nicely. I'm not trying for an exact match for the Star Wars Kaminoans. But I'm willing to bet if I model for effect within the limits of STO rather than accuracy, I will come quite close

    I have one all-Ferengi crew
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Full Tellarite with Tellarite ship, now combadge and backstories. A Deferi ship and crew (using Vorgon ships as the Defera Star Patrol's newly designed ships, using Xindi stuff) with original uniforms and story, a Lukari ship and crew (pre fleet holding, all Alien types), a Garidian Warbird (cheers @gaevsman ) a temporal one, Klingon, hmm... All I do is create themed characters and crews, I really don't actually 'play' the game that much any more...

    Alien Boffs modified to look like Benzite. Sometimes you gotta use a work around.

    My Ferasan is styled as a Klingon Intelligence officer. Originally I wasn't going to have any Klingon bridge officers but I ended up getting the discovery KDF boff on that character. The rest are various KDF species and a Vorta.
    When I made my KDF Jem'Hadar I wanted it to be a bit different. His backstory is he was discovered as a child in Klingon space and raised as a Klingon. I sacked all the Jem'Hadar boffs and got him various KDF ones then dressed him as Klingon as I could.
    My TOS toon ended up joining Section 31's temporal division. The whole crew's dressed in dark Section 31 style uniforms and he flies a Vengence.
    My Fed Rom is styled as a cybernecically enhanced (technically Liberated Borg) privateer. He wears the Mudd coat. No one has any insignia on and I tried to make the clothes not look like uniforms.

    I toyed with the idea of an Orion harem but figured the wife would kill me.

    Before I could tolerate to make fem toons my limited imagination as far as men toons are concerned led me to make only strict variations of my prime/alter ego toon:

    Prime: MACO (Dil store back at the day)
    Alt1: Borg (lobi/zen store)
    Alt2: Mirror (lobi)
    Alt3: Alien imposter (alien/zen store)
    Alt4: Future/time traveler (lobi)

    Thank god I don’t feel silly playing fems in a videogame anymore. When it comes to girls I seem to have unlimited imagination. I was able to save some work here still as I simply converted the (all fem) boffs of my men toons to actual characters. :D

    Play the Hawaii Five-O Theme with your normal Bridge Crew and there you have it, a Themed Bridge Crew. No fuss, no muss. :)

    I dunno all my characters (both male and female) are over 6' and still have normal human portions. None of them have overly massive upperbody with vestial legs ;)

    Though my main does have green skin.

    Typical all ferengi crew, all gorn crew (set up for rip and tear instead of guns..all wearing gorn loincloths (waiting for the lobi sales to get them emperor swords for some Braveheart esque shenanigans)), my ragtag crew who look like they belong on a red deep space mining vessel...if I recall I also have a crew of Tovan Khevs (or had, can't recall if they got airlocked), my miner crew (dirty outfits, miner gear and mining weapons), a crew whose uniforms match their guns.. a kdf fireteam of heavy weapons (mining laser, flamethrowers, miniguns and Khannon) set up to basically be emplaced so I can lure enemies into a killzone (so much fun on Homes last part...like an episode of starship troopers)

    Well most of his characters are not human so "female" is just as valid.

    ALso is anyone else getting the forum software bugging out and displaying the buttons as white and the posts as light grey on white backround, seems to happen to me at random, some threads are normal while others bug out

    He!, One of my Klingon chars have Orion twins as Boffs.. quite lovely btw!

    That’s very observant of you Shim. As a matter of fact all my fem toons are non-humans. Perhaps there is some unconscious trauma towards those w-o-m-e-n @angytarg is speaking of at work after all. :D

    One of my toons has an all G.I. Joe themed crew. I also make "drednoks" for my KDF crews. I am still waiting for boffs to be able to wear aloha shirts, and maybe some sailor and baseball caps, so I can finally do some McHale's Navy and Magnum P.I. themes.
    Resident TOS, G.I. Joe, Transformers and hair metal fangirl.

    And knowing is half the battle!

    I have a Liberated Borg with an all inorganic crew: Borg, Holograms, Androids. The Bridge Officers were the easy part. It was getting the DOff crew that was hard.
