Is the Universal Console "Cutting Tractor Beam" affected by Mirage Decoys trait?

I recently bought the "Cutting Tractor Beam" console and while it's powerful, it's also fragile. I know the Mirage Decoys trait helps protect hangar pets and destructible torpedoes (and mines?) but I'm not sure if it would protect a constructed platform as well.
I don't want to waste millions of credits buying a trait that is useless for my needs so I hope someone can answer this question.

    I highly doubt it. Language describing what things do are usually very specific. I can't remember if the Assimilator has shields or not, but if it does the Cardassian Support Platform would be perfect to use for extra protection.
