trouble with my tier 6 paladin

Hey all,
I just bought some zen to buy the secondary skin for my paladin, the ranger class look so i could play through with an AoY captain. Unfortunately it's not letting me buy that skin and wondering if any one was having similar issue

    Did you buy the Ranger ship itself in the C-Store or ship vendor? Try that instead.

    It might be blocking the purchase because your inventory is full or there are no active ship slots available.

    I did not think of that, it also may be doing it because the ranger is a tier 5 ship and i haven't made it to captain yet. That being said however as it's a variant skin for the paladin ship i should be able to purchase and use it

    To buy a tier 5 ship you must be the appropriate level to do so which is level 50 I believe. Depending on what level you are, you're being blocked by not being high enough level

    Yes... the skins are not sold separately... they come with the purchase of a particular variant of the ship-type. The skin can however be used on any variant within that ship-type (for example, you can use the T4 Tactical Escort Refit's skin on the T5 Tactical Escort Retrofit... but to get it, you have to buy the T4 Refit ship.)

    Note that since Zen store ship purchases are account-wide, if you have a different character who is higher level and also Federation, you can use THAT character to buy the ship, and that should unlock the skin in the tailor settings.
