Any battlezone has just been terrible, stuttering, rubberbanding, my compression pistol is shooting like a machinegun from all the lag.... Ship stutters and twitches when I try to move... How have they not fixed this lag issue yet? Its the ONLY game on my PC that lags. Net is fine on my end and friends all over the country and globe for that matter are reporting the same things. Stopped buying Zen due to the utter lack of quality control.
I can count on one hand the rubberbands I've had this month. No issue here in the UK and not using proxy. But OP, there is already a thread open to report lag.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
No lag here in the great state of South Carolina. I just upgraded my comp and on the old comp it was bad when you think your comp can handle it your probably wrong.

GTX 1080Ti, I7 6700k, 2 TB Solid state drive, 32 gigs of Ram. If that cant play STO then this game is trash on a whole new level. Oh and 275Mbs download with 12Mbs upload.
I almost never have lag in this game even when there are widespread issues. The game is currently unplayable for me due to rubberbanding. I feel like I'm in one of the temporal loop episodes.
I cut my teeth on multiplayer games with a 56k and 400ms ping was considered perfectly fine. This is worse.
Between network lag and power tray bug-activation failure, STO remains the most broken online game I've ever played.
Play Fallout 76 that will change instantly.
Well I am certainly never going to touch that festering pile of a game.
I had actually bought that game when it was new, going on the good faith I had with Bethesda for all their prior works. That thing was a mess. I remember trying to get a refund and they denied me. So I went to my financial institution and got my money back that way.
IMO, if they hadn't compromised their previous experience of single player RPGs and made FO76 along those lines, we probably wouldn't be laughing at them so much. But Todd Howard really wanted the "games as a service" deal. You can find interviews even before FO76 came out where he talked about people making mods and such for their older single player RPGs even going up to FO4, and they weren't seeing that extra money.
And that set the stage for the Bethesda we know now. It's a shame. Even with the known flaws in their games, I used to have near blind loyalty to them. From Daggerfall to Morrowind, to Oblivion, FO3. To Skyrim and all the way thru FO4 and its DLCs, they were in extremely high standing for me. Now I have to look at them as a shady dealer going forward.
Its not the lag that bothers me its the constant rubberbanding and power tray misfires that peeve me
Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.
I ended up in a To Hell With Honor run where I reached a ping of 3000 and even then, I think the netgraph command undersold it considering what happened.
It was so bad that during the last part with the oversized walker, none of my pets and their shots (and even my own ship) were moving and I even saw in the chat window that I supposedly left the team AND zone chat, which means I technically left the instance. But I kept being on the map for 10 more minutes with the walker just reaching 89% HP before I finally gave up and quit the game.
Miraculously, it still counted as a successful run but the whole experience was both sad, horrifying and hilarious.

I had this a few days back. resolved the whole map in fast forward after the walker died. by pure luck i registered minimum damage
the worst thing is... there's absolutely no communication from cryptic that they've noticed our concerns or any comment that networking issues have top priority^^
There is a thread set up to describe the lag that players are having. I am not able to link it due to lack of cut/paste in the Arc browser. It is Lag Hunting Data Submissions Thread Round 2. Thanks.

Totally agree - seeing more more lag delay over this week and today TFO was just a endless lag spike all the way round
