I'll guarantee you that if these ships are ever sold individually, they will go for quite a bit more than your average C-Store T6. They've included every skin, every console, and every weapon of every other variant with these ships, plus 2 Starship Traits, and they're Fleet level to boot. All of that will be used to justify the higher cost. And rightly so.

People have been claiming for years that they'd be willing to pay $100s for various Lockbox/Lobi/Promo ships if they were made available in the C-Store as guaranteed account unlocks. Well, here we are. It's happening and, not surprising, people are still complaining about it. 😒

Yup...I mean I'd honestly expect the TOS and Discovery Connies to go for 8-10k or so zen...maybe get a bit of a sale in Mudd's Market. Others for maybe 5-6k

I've seen people complaining about how scummy lock box/r&d ships are but they're also complaining about the price...well CBS doesn't fund them game, they need to make money in order to keep the doors open. I guess some people were expecting to get their account unlocked Discovery Connie for 3k

There's another faction here who want account unlocks that is being overlooked.

I have wanted a way to account unlock box ships I already have. They already got their money from the initial unlock, but translating that to account unlock is not something they are offering, neither with discounts on these Cstore ships if you already have them or from some other means.

I'm sure this pack stings to people who already have some of the various Connies it offers because their previous investment isn't being respected. Fortunately for me, I have none of the box ships in this pack, so to me it remains a pretty good deal even if I don't want 3 of those box ships.

So they're putting the price up the day before a lot of people get paid?

A lot of people (certainly where I live) get paid on the last working day of the month, which in this case is Feb 28th. The price goes up on Feb 27th.

If you are living paycheck to paycheck then consider cutting expenses so you can build up a cushion in your bank account and pay off any credit card debt.

    Also, it's a two-week sale, you'll have time.

OMG! I just bought the bundle! Can't believe I did this! :# But it turned out there's a massive Zen sales going on too. So, I was now done for only $150 (with 2200+ Zen to spare). For that price, I just caved. Let's face it, I was willing to pay near $100 for the Defiant alone; if $50 exta got me the full bundle, well, there was no longer saying No to that (short of robbing my own wallet).

Other ways to fund the purchase before your normal paycheck:

    - 1,000% interest payday loan
    - sell your possessions
    - sell blood
    - sell pets or children
    - sell yourself

... but I'd still vote for "don't live paycheck to paycheck." If you keep even a month's income in your checking account this wouldn't be an issue.

While I'm not saying that that particular want isn't valid, I don't see how it's valid here...these ships are literally different ships than the R&D ones...not only does the R&D Discovery Connie have better stats it also has the best Phasers in the game...same for the TOS Connie having better stats.

They both have a slower turn rate and less inertia...TOS Connie is only 4/4 which is probably to counter the fact you can throw a 5th tac console on and the Discovery Connie loses that 5th console option.

The Devs said they were looking into that issue if I recall? It may not be here today but hopefully some day.

There's a bug in the C-store, so I want to correct this before people miss out on the sale. The 35% off sale on the bundle lasts until 2/27. The bundle itself is available until 3/9. Thanks!

Welp, so much for my ever getting this. I won't have even the sale price available to me until May.

so you bought $100 and $50 separately? if so that would of been 19,800 zen total. Sale price of standard bundle is 19,500 zen.

Yes they are technically different ships. However, for many, perhaps most people, the stats are less important than the looks. Its space barbie.

Are people chasing a TOS Connie because they want the stats of the Temporal Connie, or because its the TOS Connie?

To put it another way, would this bundle have remotely as much appeal if it were the Legendary Dewan Toilet Brush/Kazon ship bundle? I think not.

People want the ships they know and love, and that is entirely based on what they look like and how they were seen in the shows/movies. What slots/specializations it has isn't nearly as important as long as it is a viable T6.

Odds are decent it will pop up again a few times a year like everything else, if not sooner then somewhere in Black Friday - New Years.

Start saving now so you already have the money when it comes back, it might just be for a weekend next time. As a bonus, you'll have a tiny emergency fund until then.

Or we could have made it a scout ship so folks could reconfigure it to be as tac heavy as desired. Possibly a recon destroyer like the New Orleans, so a 4/3 slightly less durable destroyer that's closer in flight characteristics and hull to a sci ship.

I don't understand why people keep bringing "fleet level" into this conversation. There is no price difference between a C-Store T6, and a fleet level C-Store T6.

The regular T6 Sovereign (Intel) is the same price as the T6 Odyssey Star Cruiser, for example. Both are T6, both are 3000z, but one is fleet level. Yes, the latter is part of a bundle, but you don't have to buy the bundle.

The only difference is if you want to rip yourself off by buying a lower-quality T6 ship, then paying extra for a fleet module on top of it.

That said, the extra consoles, traits, and skins I do agree would contribute to the overall value of the ship, so the price would be higher.
My thought is maybe 4500-5000z. Taking into account that you don't actually get the lower level ships, means you lose out on the extra admiralty cards.

Honestly I'd have been happy with ANYTHING that took advantage of the ridiculous number of weapons emplacements the Warship Intrepid has. Science Destroyer, Recon Destroyer, anything at all with more than 3/3 weapons and access to at least LtC Tactical abilities. Warship, escort, or possibly raider setups would have truly done the design justice, but those were probably never on the table for a variant of a ship that's normally a Science Vessel.

Fear not. At some point when the bundle sales drop the ships will be made available individually without the accompanying consoles, just the ships and traits for 20-30% higher than regular c-store ships. Accompanied by a Zen sale.

ummm that is not what the info saying... $50 is getting you 6,300 (bonus included) zen. $100 nets ya 13,500 zen, again that's bonus included. $1 = 100 zen is normal price, you normally also get a bonus at certain tiers levels, that bonus is increased.

Nice, that's what most people with alts will want since their different captains will each fly 1-x different ships not all 10.

The only difference is if you want to rip yourself off by buying a lower-quality T6 ship, then paying extra for a fleet module on top of it.

I wouldn't necessarily disagree that a bundle ship that comes with Fleet Quality out of the gate seems a better deal than a ship you still have to get a fleet module for, but the latter option gives you one extra admiralty card and access to the Fleet Materials for the ship. The Fleet-Level bundle ships do not have access to fleet materials. So I guess that means 500 Zen for an extra paint job and Admiralty card.
