More outfit mixing?

First of all, I'd like to show off my current outfit for my FED captain.

Secondly, I'd like to ask for more mix matching between outfits and outfit pieces. It'd be lovely to be able to throw different pieces together and see what sticks, which isn't that easy with the current limits. Instead of the tailor serving as a nice tool, I'm working in spite of it, which makes me a bit angry.
