Has anyone used this service and does it actually reduce lag by 60%?

No, but a quick search tells me the only way a VPN will help is if your ISP is intentionally downgrading game traffic. A VPN adds more work which is not generally going to improve lag.

The only things you can do to reduce lag is not congesting the line with multiple device's demanding bandwidth, use an ethernet cable, and restarting your computer and having as little programs running as possible to keep RAM free. And I say this as I have very little lag issues using a laptop and no proxy to the US server.

It doesn't matter what speed your line is as the game requires less than 2Mb/s maybe even 1Mb/s.

Obviously you just need to download some more RAM.

Akamai Technologies is who you want to try to bypass to get into the game. Run a tracert to Cryptics patch server and you'll find it usually spikes going through them.

Now how to bypass them is the million dollar question?.

Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.
