Remember they used to be T5 then T6 and now modified T6 WTF? How many times do you want to be paid for the same ship. Then the price on top of that is a joke even at 20.000 zen. Good luck finding people who are willing to spend so much money on virtual goods with uncertain time of ownership.
    > >
    > > So far this whole 10 year anniversary is a big disappointment. I hope they sell this ships individual cause I'm not buying the same ship for the 3rd or even 4th time if we talk about the T4 Versions.
    > >
    > > I don't think i waited for a ship which is already been out since years. So where are the ships we are waiting for? Vo'Quv T6, Nova T6, Luna T6, Oberth T6, Steamrunner T6, Constellation T6 ect....
    >
    > Very good question, but luckily for me, I have literally none of the T6 versions of the classes likely to have been in the Legacy Bundle, so zero redunacy for me. See until the Jupiter Carrier I only dabbled in the fed side, mostly I played an Orion KDF side with a pile of Orion FDCs and a Flight Deck Raptor (and Fleet version) mostly for the trait. Then the Jupiter came out and I both fleet and none fleet versions and that mainly what I fly Fed side with occasional breaks for my Intel Cardassian Ships, Event Ships, and my 31st Century Chronos Temporal Dreadnaught Cruiser.
    >
    > So I have spent ZERO on any of these ships. And I could use the extra ship slots on my primary Fed side character (actual my primary KDF character could use it too).

...and we know CBS has forbid a C store T6 Connie, so there goes like 3 of the ships right there
    ^^^
At one point CBS forbid a T6 Connie period - but relented. IF they include a T6 Connie of some sort in this pack, CBS is probably okay with it as long as you can only get it by buying the whole pack (IE you'll never see these particular ships, whatever the other 8 end up being, sold singly/separately in the C-Store ever - you will only be able to get them via te two Anniversary Packs.

And (like the Picard Pack - these Packs seem catered to new players (and they have gotten, and will continue to get brand new players with the continued seasons of Discovery, Picard, Section 31, Lower Decks, Star Trek: Phoenix <--- Rumored titles for the Nickelodeon cartoon series; and whatever the other two Live action series they said are in development...

So yeah, Cryptic AND CBS Marketing (I've sure CBS gets it's slice from STO beyond part of the 5 year MMO IP license deal they keep renewing - CBS probably also helps pay a bit to get some of the Star trek actors to do VO - especially the actors from the current series) are designing Packs that are attractive to new players who want their 'Hero' ships - and they know many of us original/players playing for many years will TRIBBLE and moan; but enough will still take a bit to get the ship (and for some) the new ship looks they want.

It's business; and the number 1 thing they are here to do in the end is keep the game running use it make a PROFIT.

(And before someone starts the whole "But, THIS is different..." <--- They've been saying that to a degree with every marketing item Cryptic has produced for the game; and claimed it will "kill the game"; or "it's why the game is dying...", etc.)

Overall, even though I too often don't agree with a lot of their marketing promotions and marketing tactics, they gotta be doing something right, because the list of MMOs that have thrived and remained profitable for 10 years and counting is small.

I wont argue if the morality of the price. But I will say that one Disco Connie is worth around $250 to $300 USD on the exchange. And this bundle will be 10 ships for the same price. And account wide to boot.

    Breaking this down for myself.
10th Anniversary Legendary Starship Premium Bundle
    Cost: 45000 Zen
    Opening Sale Price: 29300 Zen

    Yikes, pricey either way.
20+ Ship Costumes, Including One New, Exclusive Costume for Each Ship
All of the Ships' Consoles and Traits

I have all the c-store ships to date, so not a lot of value here.
10 Ship Slots (Once Per Account)

Nice, but I don't need ship slots.
10 Master Keys (Once Per Account)
10 Infinity Research and Development Packs (Once Per Account)

I don't support gamble mechanic cash boxes even if they are free in this case
10 Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrades (Once Per Account)

Nice, but not a deal maker by any means especially considering whats next in this list.
10 Phoenix Prize Packs (Once Per Account)

Sitting on a mountain of these now.
    100 Lobi (Once Per Account)

    Meh.
1 Epic Phoenix Prize Pack Token (Once Per Account)

Would be the first one I've gotten in over 3000 Phoenix boxes, but not that big a deal.
10,000 Dilithium Ore (Once Per Account)

Couple hours of mining has this covered.
Exclusive Title: Legend of the Quadrants

    Couldn't possibly care less.

Considering all of that, on a scale of 1-10 this bundle is a 2 at most. Unless something drastic changes during the unveiling, this will be a hard 'No' for me.

The 10 ships being Hero ship versions would assume it rules out Klingon, Romulan or Jem'hadar ships as none of those factions have had one of their ships focused on as the main protagonist Hero ship of a TV series or movie. It would also appear to rule out some fed ships that have never had one of their ship class the main focus as a TV series or movie's Hero ship.

"10 Ship Slots (Once Per Account)"

I'm already at max ships (56, iirc). So, does this mean the limit gets increased? If not, it's worthless to me.

You know what was strange? The boilerplate they use for any T6 release also specifies that it is scaling. They seemed to have forgotten it here so far.

They really need to have a Zen Charge Bonus before they release this.

the biggest mistake Cryptic could do is not make the individual ships avail in the store outside the packs , i personally dont mind buying the one or two ships i really like im not about to drop that kind of cash for ships i most likely wont use , i currently have more ships than i can handle as it is , each one of my toons has Their specific ship for the most part some have two ships specific to them some only use a certain ship till the trait is acquired

I'm very disappointed with the new ship bundles. I already own the defiant and the lower tier defiant "like" ships. I don't want to repay the full price just to get a little bonus. Even for people who don't already own the ships, the prices are WAY to high. You can buy 10 Tier 6 ships for 30,000 zen, so where's the deal with this bundle. Adding all the junk like lockbox keys, prize packs, etc isn't worth the extra zen. I would hope they revisit this and add a way for players that already own these ships to get an upgrade for a cheaper price, and lower the price of the bundles.

I don't know... there was the HMS Bounty from The Voyage Home. That was a Klingon ship Kirk hyjacked.

And some could argue that Martok's BoP was a hero ship from DS9. And while Romulans weren't featured as protagonists, the D'Deridex is pretty much the Hero ship of the Romulans due to being so heavily featured in TNG and DS9, unless we want to specifically identify Donatra's Mogai from Nemesis as a Hero ship.

I can't wait to see the rest of the ships. The Legendary Defiant looks like the real deal IMO. The stats look exactly the way they should have looked when the original T6 Defiant was released. Freaking awesome. Sadly, the Legendary Galaxy is a BIG disappointment stats wise IMO. I hope that the Legendary Sovereign is much more exciting than the Galaxy.

I also hope for at least one Klingon and one Romulan ship.

    My only question is...

Are these ships going to be classified as T6U or T7?

With the extra traits and whatnot, looks like P2W to me. Which is funny, since this game really has no "win" in it at all. It doesn't end! We just move on to the next Event (grindfest), rinse and repeat.

BTW if you are actually going to pay that kind of money for this... I hope you enjoy paying for those "updates".

If they do do another d'deridex then I hope it's more tac orientated since he d'deridex in the show is supposed to be a warship, the one in the game already is setup like a regular cruiser.

1000% agree. I can make it work but it's a freaking chore. The Morrigu is so much better that it's not even funny.

They're T6. There's really nothing over a standard T6 that they have really. For anyone who already has the older T6 versions, its a seperate ship with a new trait.
Its a full specialist ship with a unique trait. The older T6 "hero" classes weren't full spec ships. The fact that they also have the trait from the standard T6 variants is kinda interesting IMO, but I don't see this as the next tier gimmick.

Honestly these Legendary ships are a one stop shop for sets related to that particular class. More convenient than getting multiple ships. But... dang near functionally identical to their counterparts apart from full spec seating.

Hell... even the stat sheets we got on them say "Tier: 6". So the question is moot.

$450. And most of that additional stuff is gamble boxes. Seeing them trot out something like this makes me sad. Sad that they'd do something so greedy and sad that there will probably be too many people who'll hand over nearly $500 for it. For $450 they should guarantee a T6 promo ship box.

They're just T6-fleet level, with a couple extra traits.

Wow, beautiful painting, anyway, as i said in other tread, if they are available individualy, yes, by all means i'll buy some of them, if it's only on the pack... well, no, i dont have money to burn, 2 years ago, i manage to buy LTS, and i have been playing the game for 9 years, do the math on when i'll be able to buy the pack..

Maybe T6.25, but their stats are close to Fleet ships. The Valiant has 10 consoles, 1.0 hull modifier, and 0.9 shield modifier while the Legendary Pilot Escort has 11 consoles, 1.25 hull modifier, and 0.95 shield modifier. The Valiant has a higher turn rate, impulse modifier, and inertia than the Legendary Pilot Escort. The Legendary Exploration Cruiser has 11 consoles and a higher hull modifier, shield modifier, and the same turn rate, impulse modifier, and inertia as the Andromeda. The Legendary ships seems to have a higher hull modifier and a slightly lower shield modifier.

I guess everyone is just ignoring the 30k Zen bundle of just the ships (+ ship slots) without all the other extras. Given that a T6 ship is 3k Zen, x10 ships is actually 30k Zen, and the introductory price of 19.5k Zen is a significant discount for 10 T6 ships.

The 45k bundle isn't even worth discussing IMO.

I honestly thought the base value of the 30k bundle was going to be closer to 20k.
Bundled ships are 2k a piece (or less, if you count the similar mega bundles), 10 ships x 2k = 20k, then on sale for maybe 12k or 13k.

Not arguing the cost, but that is what one would pay to buy 10 T6 ships individually.

My comments were meant more to address those that saw no value in the extras in the 45K Zen Bundle and bemoaning the cost, and to point out that there is another option without those extras at a lower price.

No new content: maps, story lines, mechanics, just buy the same old ship with better paint-job(s) & improved stats, consoles, traits?

Without the sale price Cryptic/PWE doesn't even offer a zen amount to buy this bundle in a single transaction lol.

I think Cryptic should've released all of this bundle's information at once instead of piecemealing it.

All of the gambling content included shouldn't even be considered value within the bundle.

So far the re-design work looks impressive & it well done, but it is just aesthetics, I can only pilot 1 of my ships at a time, so far seems only Fed, & there's still plenty of bugs/glitches, & the increasing of lag that should be addressed for functionality before prioritizing on space barbie.

This might've just cured me from buying the LTS, which is at the best price it has been at for years, I'm so underwhelmed at that Picard's & now this bundle's values.

For me, its all Fed ships so nothing I want even if seperately
