Maintenance every day now?

So we have maintenance almost every day this week? 3.5 hours to fix 1 or 2 bugs yesterday and another 3.5 hours today with no patch notes explaining why we can't play for 3.5 hours today. And why is it always at the same time of day? Some of us can't sit and play all day and have limited time to play. Maintenance is always at the time of day that I play, so my limited time to play becomes no time to play. And for the 2nd time this week and it's only Wednesday.
Would be nice if they could take the time to at least let us know why the server is down. Too much to ask for I guess.....maybe I should throw more money at them. *sarcasm*

Yeah, I hate it when the only time you can play and the server is down. An explanation would be nice. Help with your daily Borg mission would be even better

It would have been nice to get some advance notice, even the in-game warnings, but since this didn't happen, I can see why people are fumed. If it results in a reduction/elimination of the radical rubber-banding (even seeing it in cutscenes now), then I don't mind, but again, a description of the bug fixes would also be helpful. I think every player has their own list of items they'd like to see fixed... :o
Expendables Fleet: Andrew - Bajoran Fed Engineer Ken'taura - Rom/Fed Scientist Gwyllim - Human Fed Delta Tac
Savik - Vulcan Fed Temporal Sci
    Dahar Masters Fleet: Alphal'Fa - Alien KDF Engineer Qun'pau - Rom/KDF Engineer D'nesh - Orion KDF Scientist Ghen'khan - Liberated KDF Tac

It's at this time of day because it's the quietest time of the day as well as they have just got into work. They are not going to change this, and no matter what time of day they do do this at, someone will always be inconvenienced by it. As for why, well they are most likely doing infrastructure upgrades ready for the anniversary, or PWE could be doing maintenance (which affects all their games) or something as simple as clear caches etc. The 'fixes' are done in advance of maintenance and do not affect the amount of downtime.

If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

That makes sense but they did maintenance yesterday too. I'd rather see them do 7 hours of maintenance on 1 day rather than 3.5 hours two days in a row.

So it's maintenance again? Message I see is "Website is down but game play unaffected" on launcher. It seems to be the other way around.

My launcher says "Shard maintenance" and "Check forums" but as we all know, checking the forums doesn't always help because they don't bother to post the patch notes.....

Although this doesn't effect my playtime, I agree that it's a valid complaint for people in certain time zones during a limited time event.

Well, it is the 22nd so the maintenance is most likely due to the deployment of our 10th anniversary festivities due to begin today.

The frustrating thing is when the server comes back I'll 100% likely still be experiencing lag/rubberbanding/powertray misfires and freezes and I'll be scratching my head thinking what did they actually fix. More of the same tomorrow

Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.

Maintenance, emergency maintenance, and maintenance down times are addressed in the FCT. If there are no patch notes, and no emergency has been posted via Facebook, Twitter, etc., then it is typically server maintenance, which in this case is for all titles not just STO. /Thread
