Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out.
Received this after patch.

    Having the same issue, only i was in game and went to change character, got logged out instead, and can not log back in...

    Yes, same here- changing toons when I get kicked out. Same message is happening with the launcher too. The server status is still showing as green.

    Yeah, there does seem to be something up with the login server. I'm getting the same thing after trying to change toons.

    Same issue.

    Was able to login and play right after the server was reopened and was online up until about 2 hours ago. Since 2pm Central Time, have been unable to login again.

    Yep, mines not working either. The online page even has a spinning circle of death on it. Must be some patch, lol.

    I was on Nimbus for an endeavor when it crashed on me just now.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    I just wanted to destroy some Borg ship during the hour between my day job and my night job. I cannot log in. Guess I will have to take my frustrations out on my co-workers instead.

    Same issue. Tried some simple network troubleshooting on my end to no avail. Tried a reboot and some other simple network troubleshooting (Flush DNS Cache, ARP Tables, Cookies, etc). I'm obviously new here but... you never know.

    After 10+ years, you would think that Cryptic would know to have a replacement hamster ready when the "main" has to take a potty break.

    The funny irony is I just need one more attack on the Borg for the loot payout. Must be a virus the Collective slipped into the patch. This must be the futile resistance they talk about, lol.

    From Twitter: Our PC login servers have been targeted by radical anti-Alliance commandos and briefly taken offline. We'll have an ETA for their return soon.

    Just talked with support online - They are aware of the problem.

    "We currently have an extended emergency maintenance and we have relayed this issue to our technical team already. I won't be able to provide you an ETA for this. We do apologize for the issue this may have caused you."

    No Problem. Well get a hand full of Dilithium crystals, a resource box, and a pack of smokes out of this. So its cool.
