  I just noticed that this bug also affects the bank and account bank.

  I've noticed that too on inventory (didn't check and notice on bank)
  
  - I think it "dropped to its place" (solved symptomatically) after I somehow used the filters. Maybe the arrow, maybe an actual use or something which affected the filtered items even - I don't remember the details of what I did which had changed it. (didn't check across logins, chars and bank though)

  Well, I was able to get the Filter function drop down menu/search to collapse (visually) when I clicked on the down arrow key (which is also covered by the drop down menu text).
  
  Then, I went to the bank...aaaaaannnd.... it showed up at the Bank and Account Bank. Top row of the bank is covered by the Filter menu (it has EXPANDED without having interacted with the down arrow key).
  
  To clear it, click on the down arrow next to "FILTER". But how long it "sticks" I do not know. Would I have to clear it constantly?
  As in every time I change characters, or every time I switch maps, or every time I go to a different bank, or every time I sign out and back on.
  
  When I finally get the Filter function collapsed, then expand it, again....the Search TEXT BOX is cut off by the menu bar at the top of the pop up window for INVENTORY. Expanding the Inventory window, vertically or horizontally, does not adjust the position of the Search text box in the Filter function.

  Switching to the R&D or Assets tab will force the errant dropdown back into the hidden position until you close the game. Restarting the game and opening the Inventory will return the dropdown to its erroneous - deployed - state.
  
  I have tried switching maps, and changing characters without closing the game, and - once hidden - the dropdown remained in the hidden position. Once I exited the game and restarted it, the dropdown malfunctioned until I switched tabs.
  
  However, I did just this second open the Inventory (errant dropdown) and closed the Inventory and then reopened the Inventory. Upon reopening, the dropdown was in the correct position - hidden. After switching accounts, the dropdown remained hidden.

  This issue is now after 3 days annoying beyond any comprehension NEED SOLUTION TODAY!

  I don't know why they bothered adding these filters in the first place. They're pointless and unnecessary.
  
  Would love an option to flat out turn them off entirely.

  yep i'm having the same issues too. and agree if ppl don't what that feature they should give us an option to turn it off.
