Running Fastest Race on Ice get me an Appointment Bonus Reward pack that doesn't open for my daily!?

So after the update I am only getting Appointment reward packs saying they can give up to 25k dilithium for my daily winter event reward. Is anyone else having this problem. I am just doing the "Fastest Game on Ice" to get my daily, but now I have two unopened boxes instead of my 25k dil I am supposed to get for completing my daily.
