Wow why 6 hours in PC did you include DC Fontana

Err patch notes are for ... actually reading ... to see changes that may actually answer the question you asked above.

I'll be checking to see if Sid Haig made the list after the patch notes. Last I checked(this past Sunday), he still wasn't on the list for PC.

Thank you for the Hold Torch emote. I somehow managed to miss the fact it was available last anniversary event. And never got it. When player's gathered to memorialize Aron Eisenberg - and now Rene Auberjonois - I envied them such a classy method of honoring them. I had assumed it was sold on Risa and wondered why I never could find it.

Yes I did read the patch notes and it says six hours for PC and if you read the patch notes there’s not much there that require a six hour downtime for PC Next time before you respond to something think before you type

The "Hold Torch" Emote is now freely unlocked for all players, and as such as been removed as a prize option from the Anniversary Emote Box

Very nice gesture by Cryptic in allowing all to pay their respects for the departed in same fashion.

The length of the patch notes are not correlated to how long down time is.

And back on topic, I have the hold torch emote, but I'm glad it'll become available for everyone as of the patch. :)
Thank you devs for your hard work. :)

It is nice that they did that and exactly on the patch notes just seemed odd to me that it is 6 hours on pc

There is a lot more work going on then updating server software and client software with the patch: hardware, network hardware and bandwidth, resetting servers, testing, probably more servers and other stuff we typically don't hear about.

I don't work there, but they have indicated at least most of this before, just passing it on. :)

Those new commands sound useful too. :)

Which also answered the question (in my head, at least) of why the game maintenance is happening on a Wednesday instead of the usual Tues/Thurs schedules.

So don't get me wrong , its sad enough but why is this Robert Walker J.R so special to get on the memorial ? I only find 1 reference to a star trek episode?
So again not troling but interested.

Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.

Having a patch, regardless of the size, was welcome, all the same :)

That isn't something they can fix. Weeks worth of tracerts show the problem is akami, and that is an entirely different company not under control of Cryptic or PWE.

    What is akami?

As a participant in the previous traceroute thread now stale dated at Oct 15/19 those that were posted didn't necessarily show any conclusive pattern. I really wish they did but they didn't. The issue seems to remain open to interpretation.
